Why does it matter? Can't we just say they are a good band? Nothing in between "good" and "band." Not a good Christian band, not a good Non-Christian band, just one that writes beautiful music and great lyrics.

Many "Christian" bands are made up of a group of followers of Christ (yay! :D ) but do not necessarily make music that has to do with God or spirituality (although lots of their songs can be interpreted that way by felllow believers and were maybe even written to be interpreted that way). It's the way to attract people of all faiths to their music, and not throw God in their face, but still be great examples of Christian people :D
