I'm not surprised to see a windshieldless Mazda. I saw some guy driving a second generation mazda and he removed the windshiled. the car looks nice and with 2 small winshileds, the car would look like one of those classic cars.

dont change it, just make sure you sell an accessorie so if can cover the interior when its parked in the rain or at the mall and it will be perfect.... perferct. no windshield is a great idea, so raw and intune with the mx-5 consept. i would buy it if mazda had it in their showroom

@iiNteNzZe The two cars are completely different. The SLR is an extremely heavy brute with a huge engine. Since it has so much power, it is extremely tail happy and forces the chassis to work overtime to keep it on the road. They ripped off the roof to save weight when they should have removed the luxuries which made it heavy to begin with. The Mazda is a featherweight vehicle that is designed for nimble handling. It was light to begin with, and Mazda took it to an extreme with this model.

It does look simply stunning. And its performance has probably been improved noticeably. And it's coming to Forza3!

I too think the absence of a windshield is a strange choice, but it gibes the car a much nicer, clean silhouette. However, if this car is indeed going to be road legal, you simply but a motorcycle helmet. It's what you would do for an Ariel Atom and the like.

I wonder how much it would hurt getting a stone flying towards your face or getting into a frontal collision with the rear end parts flying everywhere. I think its just a safety hazard that theres no windshield to protect the driver and passenger.

I like the Lamborghini Gallardo Concept Car because these car doesn't have 1 centimeter of the windshield. I love this car, but I think it's better to wear a sunglasses or goggles in order to not to be uncomfortable.

I'd like one for the track, autocross, weekend tooling around etc. but that's where the fun of a windshield less car stops... go for a date, "here, I know you did your hair for 2 hours, but shove this helmet on!" lol even just two small bubble windscreens as an accessory... similar to the Ariel Atom, and then you can just not buy it if you want complete open air.

and some side mirrors would be nice if I'm going to use it on the road...

Get rid of the smiley face! Just horrible!  Everyone I've talked to hates the smiley face! Just look at the Cobra. I would not drive one just because of the front end. Ever get hit by a small rock in the face at 55 mph? That's why even bikers have a windshield...
