  • lol that idiot "spy drone" a bright one we have...

  • The news people ought to do a little research... That's a target drone used for target practice. The military equivalent of a clay pigeon. No big deal.

  • Comment removed

  • some one should claim salvage rights to it.

  • BTW: It's called a BQM-167A subscale aerial target

  • Spy Drone my ass. They have been launching those things from

Tyndall Air Force and shooting at them with fighters over the gulf for years. It most likely got of course and ran out of fuel...If it had been shot down it would not still be intact.

  • Ooo those lucky lucky people seeing the drone up close... and not being incinerated by napalm.

  • a spy drone... they use those for target practice...

  • dont worry, we'll be seeing more of them soon. they are the new kgb.

  • ha ha ha ha! A tow target! I had no idea those were unmanned drones too. Do journalists research anything before they put it on the news?

  • Eh...It's just swamp gas.

  • Looks like a target drone. They fly them around for cheap target practice.

  • It was a heat seeking moisture missile!

  • 1:13 huhuhuhuhu. I live in bama. And were that stupid.

  • where's the drone? it's stealthed, i can't see it.

  • typical American media =don't let facts get in the way of a shit story.

  • Kool I would of taken the camera, and the harddrive and see what the military ( Or the cops ) were spying on.

  • In the 1960's these target drones where common, and I somehow think this one ended up washing ashore. They where not used for spying.

  • Maybe it's a kite of the future.

  • Nick is a fat jerk-off........it seems to be some sort of a spy drone ......since when fat boy ? Mr. missle .....Mr. fat expert ....wear a bra dude ...worry about people seeing your tits

  • YEEHAH! HEY BILLYBOB!

LOOK WHAT I FOUND! IT'S STILL RUNNIN!

    WATCH THIS!

  • training drone

  • The newest trend... Paint the spy drones bright red... Yeah a SPY drone... FUKING idiots..

  • It's a UFO

  • drone aerial target

  • Of course they ALWAYS paint spy drones bright orange right?

  • LoL! They call that news. I guess there was nothing better to report. They guy that found it is as dumb as the news crew...spy drone? Fucking dumbass. The news crew always finds fucking idiots to interview because they are not so smart themselves...I guess that is just another reason I do not watch the news.

  • also known as a B.A.T.- Ballistic Aerial Target. We used to blow them up with our stinger missiles for live fire exercises. Cheaper than blowing up real aircraft for practice.

  • lol its just a target drone.

  • Where did I put that darn thing, it was right about here.

  • Its a target and drone projectile. It's the same technology we used in Vietnam to photograph and retrieve as another use. If you go onto Keesler AFB you will see many on display. One at the end of parade grounds. Don't get all worked up over nothing. News people are dumb asses and want you to think like a 5th grader.

  • @badlandbndigger Actually, in vietnam it was the MQ-1 firebee or something like that. The generation of drone before this-un. A much much older design which, while extremely easy to down with a fighter or missiles, could perform far better reconnaissance than the drone you see in this video.

Come to think of it, the ones like the one in this video were prone to crashing lol.

  • @peepeevagi I didnt have anything to do with this drone stuff however i guess they had guys doing this in my field. In reference to my Keesler statement, I was saying drones have been around a while. Thanks for the input. For being washed around in the wake, it still looks pretty good. :)

  • Spy drone...yeah that's why they painted it bright orange....they are target drones....dipshit

  • Since when was that fat Alabama guy a military expert? They should check to see if the fins actually move and see if there are electronics in it before they say "It obviously is a spy drone."

  • thumbs 4 ebay

  • Sell it on ebay ill spy on my friends!!

  • Nick Patterson said, "It is a type of spy drone...". Now the entire world knows this guy is an idiot... Spy Drone, really?

  • You're going to sell government property on eBay? Hope you like prison food.

  • @liOVERLOADil fuckin government "drops" teir shit into the sea, it washes ashore and someone finds the rubbish... why not ? :D

FUCK THEIR LAW, FUCK THEIR ORDERS !

  • It's my RC plane!!..now I find it!...

  • If it was a drone the US would spend the extra $50 and put a gps on it and pick it up straight away.

  • someone from the USAF clearly plays eve online.. stop leaving your drones behind!

  • i would put 420flytime on the side and away it flys

  • it looks like a 911 plane

  • Boy, I sure wish a had a good ebay joke to drop on the reporter right about now. Since not, I'll say something stupid instead.....

  • do remember people u can hate on people from alabama all you want it wont change that the people who found it probably had no interest at all about the airforce and probably dident even know they had training drones not everybody would have thought OMG a training drone.... no they thought holy hell its an UAV = spy plane based off of the predator the most comon UAV and it is used alot for recon

  • Damn redneck says it is a "spy" drone. It is a target drone.

  • I would have tried to take it home.. :p

  • @gorgeousdzastr Hey, if they're just shooting them down, sounds like they wouldn't mind if you did. I certainly wouldn't mind having one of those.

  • a dayglow orage spy drone.......or maybe a target drone ah?

  • Such news made me hate TV ...

  • Uneducated Alabama beach goers. I thought we had dumb ones here in Texas but I was wrong.

Bright orange = spy drone? Right...

These drones have been used since the 1960's for target practice by fighter pilots. Not very sophisticated at all.

  • @BFKAnthony817

Yeah . . . .That's what they want you to think.

  • @BFKAnthony817 and Hatethecity.. So everybody who is not interrested in the military at all, so does not look up these things on internet or anywhere else should have known that? Right genius.

  • @spacedigger The color orange should be a BIG signal that it is not a spy drone. It is too bright and easy to spot.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that deer hunters use orange gear to make themselves HIGHLY visible to their fellow huntsmen.

These are orange so they can be easily taken down.

  • @BFKAnthony817 people who don't care don't know and don't want to take the time to think about logical reasoning.

  • @spacedigger You got that right bro.

  • @BFKAnthony817 i bet you voted for obama too

  • @jmoney31705 I did.

  • @BFKAnthony817 Funny how some people talk a lot of shit (media included!)

I skydive and when we have a malfunction and the main canopy floats down harmlessly there are always calls to ambos and cops saying that a skydiver has crashed etc etc!

Would be great if more people (media included!) had a bit more knowledge on what they are saying and reporting!!!!! Its a target drone big farking deal! News must have been slow that day lol!!!

  • @BFKAnthony817 I don't know what this particular model can do, but sophisticated drones that are used in missile tests (very similar size to this one) but maybe faster moving and harder to catch, can cost as much as $300,000 easily

  • @BFKAnthony817 Ikr? It was obvious it wasn't even stealth...

  • @BFKAnthony817 lmao. I would think it's a cruise missile.

  • @BFKAnthony817 Happened during spring break, I was at the beach when it happened and 90% of people there acting like idiots weren't locals, most locals don't even go anywhere near the beach around spring break time because of all the idiots from out of town.

  • @92doege Well, honestly I wasn't trying to marginalize an entire populous, but just saying we got some dumb ones here too.

  • @92doege Yeah I'm sure all of those "intelligent" people from Alabama are often offended by the fools from "out of town".

  • @brin3535 Yea you're probably one of those "out of town" people who think everyone in Alabama is some stupid redneck who sits around all day. Ever hear of NASA? Yea people from AL have had and have a huge part in that. The IPhone you most likely have? Yea the CEO of Apple graduated from Auburn. The road you drive on to work? Yea its there because of Alabama engineers. I could go on forever but I'm sure you need to get back to flipin those burgers.

  • my stepfather works on these here at tyndall air force base. the pilots probably winged it and it went wet. then the current probably pushed the drone to the beach. its happened several times on panamaa city beach

  • @hicer100 ooo tyndal isent that home to the 325th fighterwing with the f22s? and if that washed up near my house i would be like quick dad help me load it up into the back of your truck lols

  • The USAF looses it and nobody looks for it ?

How many of my tax dollars went into this crap

    How come nobody cares?

The government takes money OUT OF MY PAYCHECK FOR THAT?

    WTF ! !

  • @RDELAPLAZA ur not alone.

  • I'd take that shit home.

  • @TheLucas2696 me too!

  • Two strikes against the young people who will inherit this country....1. It is obviously a TARGET drone, not a sophisticated spy drone like Mr. Head of the Class states, and 2. It's intact, so the dummies that were shooting at it, obviously missed. Hope it's the missile crew assigned to protect president Osama.....LMFAO

  • I'd be taking that baby home with me..Not telling the authorities about it

  • ok didnt see this in the news, a drone interesting

  • Firebee?

  • ALABAMA FTW!!!

  • Not a spy done but a drone that anti aircraft units shoot at made to be shot down.

  • I like how everybody is so sure that their is no explosives on board

  • Come on guys. The Air Force has been using this specific model/type of target drone since the late 1960's. Raytheon, Lockheed and other D.O.D. contractors make these for the Air Force and Navy to practice on. They are launched out of the space center in Huntsville Aalabama as well as from ships during war games or new weapons testing.

  • Score: Target drone: 1, F-16: 9,467

  • Yes yes a target drone...

  • Its a target drone you dumbies, its got a jet motor and guidance parts thats it

  • @hatethecity That what you WOULD want us to believe... COUNTER INTELLIGENCE AGENT! :p

  • @MachetePanda well, if you think about it, that too makes sense; might they be testing to see what effect certain available small munitions may have against? not sure why no retrieval, let it hit the news; maybe mentioning so we all accept. Like then people said ok no worries, no, can't be used against us on US soil, now look where we are, major installations & legislated approval for use for LAWENFORCEMENT & other 'safety' montioring... this + s1867 & 3 major drone installs!

  • @MachetePanda I am ex Air Force and we have blown many of these out of the air. A real spy drone is worth millions of dollars and are tracked very closely. If it does have a malfunction and loses its satelite link they are rigged with explosives to blow up. To many conspiracy nut cases need to do some research before you post stupid comments.

  • @hatethecity You would try to dismiss me with your counter intelligence bashing. YOU FOOL NO ONE! IM ON TO YOU!

  • @hatethecity Thanks for the info regarding these orange guys, but why wasn't the recent Iran spy drone blown up?

  • @hatethecity Yes it looks basic but it would be a good piece for the garage bar, make a coffee table out of it.

  • @hatethecity Not even guidance parts. It's one of those ANCIENT visually guided ones xD

  • @hatethecity tha'ts a jet ski..nothing to see here

  • YOU FOOLS LOOK UP CRUIZE MISSILE THATS NO DRONE THEY ARE MADE TO STAY UP IN THE AIR FOR 2 DAYS LONG LONG WINGS THAT IS A MISSILE IT IS WHAT DILEVERIS THE PAY LOAD PIN POINT THAT IS NOT MADE TO SPY IT GET LAUNCH POWERS THEN FALLS WIITH PIN PIONT ACCRUCY !!!!!!!!!! THE WOURL IS FILLED WITH MIND LESS COWS WHO CANT THINK FOR ON THERE OWN

  • @cobra351hpp - No you fool, "drone" is the old name for UAV, or Unmanned (Uninhabited?) Aerial Vehicle. Drones/UAVs can be piloted or preprogrammed, supersonic or subsonic, or short or long duration. Your definition of a drone is for a vehicle tasked for long duration, high altitude surveillance missions, but that is not the only thing drones are made for. The one in this video was a short duration, high speed target drone.

  • used to train soldiers to fly real UAVs ?

  • @funnynamehere2 You dont fly in a UAV. The first word is Unmanned.

  • @SuperClintEastwood i meant to say pilot not fly

  • @gregboyds You are a fool. Look up "Drone"

  • @gregboyds so is the pilot alrite?

  • @gregboyds no, the pilot does not need to be in the aircraft to control it, that is done by radio signals transmitted from the ground to control hydraulics, motors, etc that directly manipulate control surfaces. Imagine an electric motor stuck to the steering wheel of a car, and a radio receiver that wirelessly receives commands via radio from a distant location connected to the motor. If you send a command that tells the motor to turn clockwise, the motor would then spin the steering wheel

  • @gregboyds

Not sure if trolling... but if not, Predator drones pilots are located in Nevada, while the predator drones are in Pakistan. Line of sight? Hasnt been needed for decades.

  • Sell it to Iran.

  • Ld use the term unmanned aerial drone than that way theres no mix up

  • Maybe you shou

  • The coments here say volumes about people.

  • Oh yeah it's deffinatly a spy drone LOL. People truly let there mouths talk shit on subject they don't know squat about. Hmmmmmmm. Guess my r/c turbine jet is a spy drone too. It has a turbine and brightly colered USAF markings on it also

  • 0:38 nice shirt bro

  • Don't leave it in the water. How do people not know what a target drone is? If anything I feel bad cuz that means the person failed to shoot down his target drone and I bet his wing men are giving him crap about it. Lol

  • that would be a mart choice of color for a spy drone

  • thats not a spy drone.... thats a fucking targeting drone..

  • i dont think a spy drone would be painted bright orange...

  • @MrJello4x4 its a target drone they drop flares and the predator come in behind i and blows it the fuck up the target drone is usually at least 20000 feet in the sky above the clouds so the enemies cannot see it

  • @MrJello4x4 hahahha rit... or may b its original color comes out after washing up

  • @MrJello4x4 thats what they want you to think lol

  • @MrJello4x4 why not?

  • @PhilM247 they're supposed to stay outta sight. not to mention all the right angles on it. its definitely not a stealthy aircraft either

  • @MrJello4x4 Trololololol

  • They keep calling it an "unmanned drone", as opposed to what, a manned drone? JUST CALL IT A DRONE!

  • LoL he would definitely be arrested and maybe jail time. That doesn't look like a drone by the way. It looks like something that is designed to blow up.

  • such a red-neck! "yeeeaaah...oma gonna sael it aon EBAY ifa soam buuudy dont cum getit."

  • Gawd that first dude has nut in his mouth or somethin, he talks like a tard. Where is it? In the whutter?

  • it is target uav; there is not spy uav with "RED" color.

  • Suddenly three intelligent apes immerge from the craft.

  • Damn it BP mess up everything

  • what an economical use of tax dollars surely this doesn't contribute to our trillion dollar deficit.

  • Military commonly colors their target drones international orange. This definitely looks like a target drone for sure.

  • Our enemies just hack our high tech spy drones and laugh. The way things are going we all need to learn how to turn these drones on there creators! These fucking drones are BS!!!

  • @cyberage100 Its. A. Target. Drone. All it was meant to do was fly along, get shot at, and die.

  • @AtholAnderson Shit, I just fed a troll didn't I?

  • @cyberage100 Dude, they've been being used for several decades. This video is clearly old.

They are carried behind planes on long wires, where Army men train using anti-air weapons like Stingers and such on these for training. Nothing special.

  • Tell US about that drone they lost in Iran???

  • It's a chicken shits way to fight drone!

  • not cheap for something to shoot at!!!

  • that thing looks like a replica of the X-1 (first plane to reach supersonic speed)

  • dude if i seen that i would fucking jack that thing

  • NOT a spy drone dumbass. A target drone.

  • @Firesprink72 He did not know asshole

  • Call dibs.

  • of course it's a "spy drone"..y'all can tell, 'cause it's painted

a painfully obvious orange color..with big 'ole "stars and bars" USAF

insignia. Not a single "low visibility" feature on this puppy anywhere...

'cause the most important part of using "spy drones" is to make goldamn sure

that everyone can see it from as far away a possible..and don't let there be no doubt

in anyones mind whose drone it is.

[...more 'merican morons on parade. plumb embarassing.]

  • HOW TO AVOID A DRONE ATTACK:

    1. Leave pets on the beach. Their splashing will draw unwanted attention.

    2. If you're bleeding, stay out of the water.

    3. Avoid swimming at night, dawn, or dusk. That's when they feed.

    4. If bitten, fight back. Try to strike a camera, antenna, or control surface.

    Have fun and stay safe!

  • @DigiTan000 I lol'd....

  • I WANT IT ON EBAY

  • target drones. Tyndall AFB probably, my dad used to work on the drone program back in the 80s

  • Aren't these just used for target practice?

  • lol absolutely not a spy drone

  • It's just a target drone. Numerous types are launched from Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City over the Gulf of Mexico and used by F-15s, F-16s, F-22s and other aircraft for target practice. Depending on the type of drone, some are expendable and crash into the Gulf, while others, after being hit, are flown back to Tyndall and recovered and reused. This one just got unlucky and crashed after being hit.

  • @broncodrew The Navy tows these behind other planes and shoots them with cwis too.

  • Comment removed

  • Mel Showers??? Should he not be doing weather??

  • ahh it's just a test dummy

  • Yea sell it 2 hours later ull get arrested

  • Target Drone

  • uhhhhh i just read some of these stupid comments n its a drone used for targeting practice, launched from a plane already at high altitude and shot down to test or practice with anti-air weapons systems whether they b air to air or surface to air.

  • It's funny that April 16,18,19,22,and 23 there were multiple UFO reports and sightings Reported by American UFO watch Organizations then at the 18 th shot down Drowns wash up on Beaches lol Extraterrestrials are shooting'em down

  • @jozsefkacsa Shot down Drowns?

  • @torquesport Your the first one who got it so far!!Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

  • It's a model "missile" for target practice: )

  • that thing is a submarine not a drone. the wings arnt big enough, if it is truly USAF its a rocket powered bomb. or self defense sub for a aircraft carrier

  • @ransom1wi lolwut

  • @ransom1wi - Where do these retards come from?

  • @PhuckingJerk that is a good question. you think most people would have seen at least a few pictures of planes. I loved how about a year and a half ago the navy lost ten of these things around New jersey lol.

  • Starts it up, rides it home..... :like a boss!

  • i would of stold it.

  • hey, I saw a movie with slim pickens ridin one of these....!!!

  • They're lucky I didn't find this. I would have finangled it into my truck and then figured something cool to do with it!

  • USAF have problem
