But it's important to differentiate the phones as they behave different from eachother and run different bootloaders and kernels. I just wrote specifications about my milestone Xt720 because some people think it is weak phone. So just to tell that it can operate at 1.2Ghz and it can even record HIGH DEF videos @30Fps.

I have no intentions to compare my MILESTONE Xt720 with HTC desire.

I love android, I love desire and I love milestone too :D

My camera is 8MP with HD video recording at 30FPS. DESIRE is not capable of recording upto 30fps.Its around 20-22FPS. Also gaming is best on my phone as compare to my friends HTC Deisre :)

@MrOsamaful gówno prawda. W obu telefonach grafika jest zintegrowana z procesorem (na tej samej płytce). Układ motoroli jest częściej eksponowany w opisach ze względu na jego sporą wydajność

This has me stumped, this game demo and also a video demo in another youtube video, the older Milestone beats the Desire. The Desire uses a 1GHz CPU with more memory while the Milestone uses 550MHz and less memory yet performs better in this game and some videos?

The Desire is coming to my carrier next week, I'm having trouble deciding for my next phone.

@sookster54 i'm going for the milestone, as im only really gonna use the phone as an ebook reader and for gaming. i want to try out the different android apps aswell. but the rest im not concerned about. the milestone only has a 60day trial of motonav... but i rarely use GPS, plus you can use thirdparty apps. update 2.2 is coming out now on the droid... so it wont be long for the milestone, which would speed it up a lot. even with the desire's 1Ghz cpu, i say milestone is better

@jakobeks Racja. Doczytałem troszkę nt. Milestone i jej wydajność zrobiła na mnie wrażenie. Jej podatność na podkręcanie jest niesamowita. Przy 1GHz procesor tej Motki jest szybszy od Snapdragona. No i układ graficzny taki sam jak w iPhone 3GS robi swoje.

What Class micro SDHC cards were in each device? This can have significant impact on loading speeds. Also, the HTC Desire runs Android 2.1, whereas the Motorola Droid runs Android 2.0. There are known speed differences between 2.0 & 2.1 - search the internets "Motorola Droid Android update slows graphic processing".

The phone is not to blame - it's the game. It doesn't work properly on the Desire because the game is not optimised for it!

Game has had bad reviews because it only works on a small set of phones!

@circusarena, well just try to play crysis with intel i7 (latest from Intel) with latest Intel graphics, and compare that with any AMD x2 (over two years old) paired with Nvidia 8800GT (over two years old), so that you may get the picture ;)
