  • When Eddie won the first round, his smile at the end made me cry.

  • He is my best friends cousin. Met him and his son today and the boy is 6 and is absolutely BRILLIANT!! We watch Jeopardy and Family Feud and both of them were so much fun!

  • He is AMAZING! An inspiration to all!

  • Wait. ONLINE courtship? How the heck did that work?

  • @sworddancer777 A player's gotta play.

  • @sworddancer777 Text-to-speech functionalities have been helping blind people use computers for a long time.

  • eddie timanus is by far my favorite jeopardy contestant. he humbled me when i thought he wouldn't win when i first saw him in 1999.

  • i remember that guy

  • In addition, for the Ultimate Tournament of Champions: After each clue was read, there would be an audible tone to let him know he could ring in (he couldn't see the lights around the game board).

  • What additional assistance are we talking about, aside from that Braille card for the first 2 rounds and the keyboard for Final Jeopardy?

  • Eddie Timanus is one of the best and amazing players to ever play J!

Eddie's part of one of life's greatest success stories!

  • I thought Eddie was already married when he was on. Does he still work for USA Today?

  • Yes he does

  • Anybody got the champions episode with Eddie in it? Either I can't remember when it was, or I missed it.

    Thanks.

  • I don't remember his mom Terri being on the show in 1991.

  • Beautiful. Interesting that his mother is on J! in 1991, I wish I can see that episode.

  • He has to be one of the best champions I have seen on Jeopardy. Thanks for sending it.

  • he seems like a really nice person and I feel really sorry for him

  • Eddie does seem like a cool person.

To say "I feel sorry for him" really would not fit in my opinion, though he has definitely showed that is does not amtter if you are blind, deaf, or handicapped in any way, you can do ANYTHING if you put your mind to it.
