  • Man i just love your vids they are so cool and entertaining, so glad that i have subed alwready :D

btw are any of zeldas babys gonna be for sale?

  • @Magmortarminecraft6

If the sac is good and the babies are thriving...they will go on sale...As you know this is a 50/50 breeding loan so half the share is going to go to the owner of the MM, and I'm keeping the other half and plan to share a good portion. However tho, I can only sell in Canada. I don't have permits to ship overseas or in the States.

  • @Jon3800 oh ok even tho i cannot buy from you because i live in australia. how much are zeldas babys gonna cost?

  • @Magmortarminecraft6

it will depend how much I get. I will probably sell them $25-30 each

  • @Jon3800 ok thanks :D

  • So I have to admit.I am afraid of Tarantulas,..however I do respect them and all spiders for that matter. I found your video interesting AND I thought the skeleton Tarantula as beautiful. The very very small spiders you were feeding..I believe one of them was a blue fang (?) was that a baby or are they just that small?

  • @Jeepgirlcj7

that was a baby. They get 3-4.5'' as adults

  • Your gbb is sweet iv seen some slings I might buy

  • 9:44 HOW IS THIS TARANTULA NAME???? I THINK THIS IS MY TARANTULA THAT I HAVE JUST VERY YOUNGER OH MY GOOODOODODOODO PLS TELL ME JOON38000 PLS

    i love you homo no

  • @ProfieHater

It's shown on the list of the video description. That was Mario...a male Grammostola pulchripes - chaco golden knee

  • @Gromkh hehe this is my old account but the rosea died -.- jon said because of humid -.- i love her so much my first tarantula damn -.- :(

  • who's Maggie?

  • @2000slamdunk

everyone knows Maggie is my dog hehe

  • @Jon3800 xd

  • Well, as commenting on another video, i just got a G. Rosea from a reptile Expo :) it's not very big , i'll send you some pictures or show you video footage via Skype. i need help on finding out if it is a male or female and how old it is. guy said approximately 3 or 4 yrs old :) i also saw some B. smithi's for 85 euros.. my G. Rosea was 17,50 :P

  • @NLmitchieNL

Mitchie, I saw your comment congrats.

    1) You can't use Skype to send me images or videos. If it's video, it's best putting this on youtube for it. Pictures should be put on your FB account, photobucket (then send me links to it) or send an attachment with the picture

    2) I probably can't tell HOW exactly old it is, but if it's around 4-5, it's probably close to 8-10 years

    3) Either ventral sex it (as you seen me do in videos, check the mature molt of LP) or molt. Take a pic

  • @Gromkh

I have plenty of videos on how to sex them.

  • @Gromkh

Yes its cool. However G.rosea are a bit easier to estimate their ages. What are their sizes? If you bought you're rosea from a pet store and its full grown adult, it should be likely 10-15 years old, but rosea females live long, so you still have another 10-15 years. A 3 year old G.rosea would be nearly 2 inches in length.

  • 10:55 i smiled irl at how cute that thing is! and omg you have an awesome collection of T's

  • Hi, Do you ever lose any in your room, or find some are missing. If so would you worry? i.e finding them in your bedroom! I just got a Chiili Rose and loving it but funnily enough i am a little scared of her even tho i decided to get her. Suppose thats normal maybe?

  • @jasonandjoesrailway

yes, sure that's quite normal. Yes I've lost some, some were found, but very few were lost and never found

  • This sure is a nice collection.

  • @Jon3800 and by the way my friend's T is also a sling a 2 inch B.albopilosum and his other 1 is a boehmei same size as mine i guess..

  • @Jon3800 I HAVE A QUESTION.. okay so im new at this hubby and curious,i did some research though but i know its not enough..so better ask the experts,hehe..i have an inch and half B.boehmei sling and its under my care for like 3weeks now since molt,i just wanna ask about its feeding rotation..how often do i need to feed it in a week? im kinda confused coz a friend of mine feeds his 3-4 time a week and i think its over feeding though?hope you read this..thanks...

  • hey again jon!

this is by no means a critisism but why dont alot of your t's have water?

    dont they really need much?

i mean do they get it from the food?

    liam

  • @hiyaberty69

Liam, I water once a week.. my room is very dry and hot so the water evaporates every in a matter of a few days. I water them off camera.

  • Sick, dude! Awesome video, nice collection!

  • Very nice video!

    Are the T's at 13:34 -15:03 ish B. Vagans?

  • @RedVelvetReaper

Nope, the only vagans I have is at 4:35. The T at 13:34-13:49 was an L.difficilis and the rest of the Ts till 15:03 were all L.parahybana

  • @Jon3800 Aaah. I figured as much. I was going to say they look a little too fluffy and dark in the rump to be Vagans. Just checking.

  • loved it,another great one

  • AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH i hate spiders!!! lol

  • Just a question, can T's catch 2 prey item at a time?I usually feed my T's 1 prey at a time, wait until they are done and give them another one

  • @MrHobbyenthusiast

yes they can. My female T.spinipes caught 3 superworms in one sitting

  • @DandyStranger

Acathoscurria brocklehursti - Giant White Banded...very beautiful T

  • 16:45 wow awesome i really like that

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome new T video!

  • I so want a E.murinus! my A.geniculata should molt any time now I think and my P.irminia starting to get mean :D

  • @brutt128

that's normal. P.cambridgei is the calmest one :D

  • Very fitting that the new T had the best attack, Genesis if awesome

  • @PDDM89

thanks Paul,I was so glad to get that one...apparently that was their only one

  • @Jon3800 Your Videos really make me want to try again with Pokies or a similar specie

  • @PDDM89

try them man...you did an awesome job keeping that T.gigas alive, pokies are even easier. Amanda got some P.miranda, $85 for 1.5''..they're pretty calm for a poke

  • What was that weird worm you tried to feed the blue fang? Btw, nice A. genic!

    --Dan

  • @dannyboydx35

    cricket larvae

  • Awesome feeding video, the immanis attack was my fave :)

  • Bloom, the Red Rosea's take down was AWESOME!

btw it was me that said into the jaws of death LOL

  • @11808Clover

Oh right ya it was you :)

  • jon at 3:43 did you miss the t enclousure when you tried to drop the criket in there hahahahah

  • @naes32995

LOL, crickets always jump out of the T

  • ur g.rosea bloom she is a really good eater and i want a play platyomma

  • hey Jon i was wondering

whats all that white stuff in Dan's enclosure?

  • @BooshgaFilms

rocks, it was part of the substrate

  • I like your new A. geniculata @ 1:24

  • @shanrocks777

    thanks :)

  • Cool feeding videos John... Keep it up...

  • thought you had a cobalt? why no feed? i fed my cobalt for the first time 2 days ago and almost lost my hand lol, i swear she just stares thru the glass at me thinking how can she get me lol. i have her in a 30 gallon tank with all the goodies, but still want to see someone else feed one. i was sure you would have had one on this video.

  • @sNstRflyEr

I do have a cobalt blue, I used to have two until one died of a molting complication, so I have my 5'' inch female left. I didn't put her in the video because she didn't eat in front of the camera until later on. I am putting her in the tour video

  • @sNstRflyEr 1 of his died a couple weeks ago and i'm guessing the other didnt want to eat.

  • @MrZamwise

    exactly right

  • that was a asome vid jon thumbs up

  • real nice spiders! i wish the l. klugi was there

  • @yannithetarantula8

she'lll be in the next one

  • @Jon3800

"bloom" never hesitate to pounce on a cricket:-)

  • Mites in B vagans container?

  • jon, ashley (n. tripeppi) really doesn't look like a tripeppi to me. Looks more coloratovillosus.

  • @starboymachine

Tarantula Canada tells me that they don't start showing their adult colors to after a couple of molts.

  • Fantastic video as usual. :) Your T's are fun to watch!

  • awesome stuff

  • @Jon3800 Quick advice is that Ecuadorian is pronounced like "Equadorian" not "Eckadorian"

  • Love the videos. Look forward to them every couple days.

  • @Abomination5o2

nope, just the 2 male and female B.jacksoni. I had 2 emperors a couple of years ago. Both ended up being gravid females.

  • @Jon3800 how often do you mist the avics enclosure and how much do you spray it?

  • @jpatt666

once a week. I mist enough to soak the substrate and the glass.

  • @Jon3800 do you mix the sub, cause with my eco earth only the top layer gets wet like the rest of it doesn't soak :(

  • @jpatt666

it means you're not misting enough... Pour warm water over the substrate. I made a video on how I water Ts (see my watering video).

  • @Jon3800 okay, thank you Jon:)

  • @jpatt666

/watch?v=Jjk8ixVqsjY thats how I water my Ts

  • how big are your avic avic's?

  • @jpatt666

I have 5 avic avic around 1/2 inch, and 1 avic avic female that's about 3 inches

  • @Jon3800 what temp and humidity do you keep the 3 inch one at?

  • @jpatt666

All my Ts are kept between 78-82F with the help of the room heater. I keep avics around 80% humidity with very good ventilation. Its very crucial!!!

  • Is Acanthoscurria brocklehursti a good beginner T? Those are the only terrestrials i really like.

  • @kyleftd93

its a good beginner T...easy to care for..but not one you should plan on handling.

  • Very nice platyomma

  • @ProxyRGD

    thanks :)

  • oh i cant wait to have my own place and have a room full of t's like this...though i think it would scare away any guy i'd want to date lol

  • @anticutesisi

hehe, yeah, it'd pretty much scare anyone :)

  • @Jon3800 but they are just so beautiful! im finally getting my first T next month. im so excited

  • @anticutesisi

    which?

  • @Jon3800 well since ive only held a t once, when i was a kid, i think im going to get something very docile, and from watching your videos (thank you) a b. smithi sounds about right

  • @anticutesisi

    nice choice

  • Oii, No expos in Norcal anytime soon! :(

  • Jon, where do you get your corkbark?

  • @BayBredBeardies He usually gets them from Reptile Expos

  • @KidChromatus

    exactly right...they have great deals
