  • great video wish I could have seen how you removed the back cover

  • Awesome job!

    Funny & informative. -kc

  • Have you had the B70 model apart?

  • I have this same model and it says heating please wait but does not do anything else. how can i fix that?

  • @sedonasoulmates Your element may be burned out. You can check the resistance between the two terminals, and that'll tell you instantly (if it's wide open, she's dead... if you get a fair amount of resistance, there's something else going on). If you need it, I saved the entire boiler assembly from my B155 (and all pumps), you can rebuild the entire unit if you want.

  • Ya know what sucks? People are very passionate about their coffee, and I have yet to find someone that does not like their brewers, and coffees, but the machines are very exspensive and yet don't last very long. Most people would not be able to fix this and that is why it was in the dump. The original owner had to spend $250 just for two years of use. Mine is about 2 years old now, and the air pump is going bad on it. Yet, Keurig has no option for buying the pump. Go figure!

  • I love fixing stuff people throw away into the rubbish.

  • I disagree with the comments that the Keurig makes bad coffee. There are over a hundred types of coffee that it can make.. some are bad.. but some are quite good IMO.

  • @tomincanada I personally like it for the convenience factor; in our office, everyone drinks something different; to satisfy their needs, we either need one Keurig machine (and everyone buys their own coffees/teas), or we buy five coffee makers and make five different pots of coffee. Purists, on the other hand, can make their own damn coffee for all I care.

  • Bloody hell, you find all the best stuff, we have a community dump near by, but they won't let people touch electricals :o(

  • I love how you repair nearly anything on your channel.

  • Bbishoppcm, what do you think about 3D printers? do you have one??

  • im watchin this vid at 4:30 am lol...

  • Ha I'm sure if that costed money you wouldn't have fixed it. The coffee that machine makes is just awful. But thanks for the video always interesting.

  • @hyperactivecalvino I think all coffee is awful. However, this brewer is probably just as good as any other one. A brewer just consists of running hot water through a coffee filter, lol.

People who are picky about coffee remind me of those who are picky about beer. It all tastes the same.

  • @raymangold22 Well it depends on kinda of beer.

  • Bleach flavored coffee??

  • I had the older model of this one, it had the regular type of LCD, transmissive blue.

the MCU board had died and i couldn't get a replacement for a reasonable cost, so it went back into the dump.

the transformer was bad, so i supplied my own power to the MCU board and it was still braindead. My guess maybe lightning damage.

  • That thing sounds very interesting when it first starts!
