@bewareofthecow Of course, you realize that unless you install a replacement keyboard app, the on-screen keyboards of the two are virtually the same because it is an OS feature. The on-screen keyboard may have been tweaked a bit for Android2.1, but (hopefully) soon that will be a non-issue between the phones soon. (Yes, I'm not-so-patiently waiting for my 2.1 upgrade on my Droid...)

Nexus one really is a nicer phone in the aspects he explained, eg. screen quality, cpu speed, memory (ram), etc. But Qwerty keyboard ftw on the the droid. not to mention the 550mhz processor they used in the Droid is suspected to be used on most smartphones now, it was designed for performance, reliability, and everyday use of smartphones, its basically a flagship cpu. And btw, both these phones are better then an iphone, Android OS is an epic win

Its absolutely pathetic that I can't find a NON iphone, that has a fluid and flowing touchscreen with a decent keyboard. when compared they are really tuff choice. droid has keyboard advantage. but nexus is stylish in shape and has very fastness. i have a moto nexus droid i overclocked to nexus perportions. hacked booted 2.1 rom and factory reset to have the nexus factory defaults on fone. i actually oced without rom. i just did the factory reset and the setcpu program actually recognized it as a nexus when i chose the nexus snapdragon device setup.

after reviewing all of the comments id have to give the edge to the droid. First off the droid has the physical keyboard. Second the GPU, and third the video quality is better on the droid, being a droid owner myself. the droids crap, it may have android and the same features, but it also has motorola droid only issues such as, sparratic lag and freezes at times. wifi issues are also a great plus if you get them such as, you can connect to wifi networks but not receive any internet from it. or you cannot connect to wifi at all will only say NOT IN RANGE.and theres also the light sensor bug that when you boot up it will either be blazing bright and no key lights or extremly dim and wont change.its nice
