A sultry, multidimensional, beautifully blended smokey eye is one of my all-time FAVORITE looks!! The point about blending out the edges is really key. The dark colors are dramatic enough as it is. You don't need harsh lines, nor do you really want them, as they look very unattractive and amateurish. If you can do a good smokey eye, you can do so many different eye looks, as the blending, reapplying, and blending are essential for expertly done eyeshadow. I love this look!

I love the work you've done here! Excellent! Most of the MAC colors used on this video are no longer available and I couldn't quite grasp the name of the deep grey blue brown used in the crease. @robinsfrog -- You need to assess the eye shape first. Do you have textured eye skin on the bottom? Generally in my opinion after a certain age (also VERY depending on the eye condition) eyeliner ALL along the bottom lash line tends to make the eye droop. If you look straight in to your mirror -- visually "cut" your eye in half from the pupil. Keep the darker color on the "outer v".
