This is the first song I heard form this group back in 1977...the whole CD is the stuff that music today could learn from....real musicians, great singing, arrangements...
I remember my Mom playing this entire album over and over. Yea; another Side Effect classic that will live on thanks to technology. Thank you for posting this one.
I know this group and it's not fair to say one was better then the other. Trully a telented group and it's a shame they are not working together today. MsPeacetoyou,
I'm sure you have listend to She's a lady, They are a talented Group
I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1984 and this was the shit back in the day in South Central L.A. do U know who this female is check her out get back at me SOS. Dammmmm Los Angeleno U remember this, but do U remember Whitter boys camp because I do I use to dance to this at those dances live in Texas, but still claim south central.
@deesthebeesknees Great story behind this lady...... I have the original album. I was a rare groove collector back in the 80's. I got a masha playlist!! Her name was Helen Lowe. She lost everything to cocaine. She had an encounter with God at Crenshaw Christian Centre (Fred Price), married and became Helen Baylor. Her song 'Oasis' was a tribute to God's love and redemptive power. Awesome eh? I got an imix on itunes called Pastor P's bofro imix.
