If Ron Paul is president he will change the rest of the world as well. I am a French Canadian who takes this election as important as our own and even more because we are your little brother if I may say. This is why I as Canadian is donating to Ron Paul. He is the one who made me believe that there is still hope for real freedom! A real hero...Vote Ron Paul America
Bomber alert. $650,000 until we hit $12,000,000 Lets all donate $5, $10, $20 Lets reach $12,000,000 on Friday, before the tea party, more free publicity SPREAD THE WORD.
I just checked the Wall Street Journal's Money race section. Surprise, surprise, guess who isn't in it! I wrote a letter under the Subject heading 'Money Race Fraud!' to their 'feedback' contact.
Reality: Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate who is willing to turn us away from our path toward economic collapse and chaos. All of the others offer more of the same failed policies.. All of the other candidates offer us the very UNREAL idea that government can fix our lives and give us all a fairy tale. Ron Paul is the only one who is grounded in reality. Let's support the one who accepts that the reality of the Constitution and that freedom is the only solution to the human condition.
You seem like a nice guy and I just want to thank you for the video in support of Ron Paul. I am an old veteran and don't have a higher education otherwise I would make a video in favor of Ron also. I am talking to all of my friends and acquaintance's about voting for Ron. Once again, thanks.
I'm morally I'm pro-life, but I legally I'm pro-choice, but with a 1st trimester limit. I see it like any other vise, if we illegalize it, we only get more of it with greater harm to the public. If we educate about, you'll get less of it.
Yes, and I'm against abortion but it's an issue that the vast majority of the population will never have to face in their entire lives. Another example is capital punishment. Those are issues for court rooms. They should never be the main issues in elections. Every other country in the world realises that except the USA. I can't help but think that the US media is to blame. They love bullshit wedge issues.
A "vast majority of the population will never have to face" rape, murder, kidnapping,or child molestation. I don't want to leave those "issues" to unelected courts either.
Localized "oppression" is easier to deal with then federal "oppression". Local oppression, can be delt with by talking to you nighbors which might just very well be the people making the law. If that dioesn't work, you can move to another city or state.
For federal oppression, you must get millions of people behind you or leave the country. And franky there aren't a whole lot of other choices out there.
Ok, say it's -20 below outside. You're inside a house. Someone say "If you don't like the room, get out of the room!" or "you don't like my house, get out of the house!" Which is better?
I rather go to another room then out into the cold. However, if I vested interest in the room, I would try to resolve my differences with my room mate, instead of my house mates.
Would you rather have decisions made on the opinions of people who live in the same state as you, or people of every other state as well?
Texas and New Hampshire, while having somewhat diverse populations, generally have differing opinions on some issues. If Texas had things the way Texas wants, and NH the way they want, I see that working out better for all parties.
And ya, moving to another state is far less of a prospect than moving to another country.
States have more of an incentive to make the quality of life in that state better. More people living in the state usually means more revenue for the state. Because it is easier to move from one state to another that to move to a different country, the federal government isnt so much worried about the moral of the people. I would conclude that this would make a state government less oppressive then federal government. Hence the argument for states rights.
He is an interesting candidate Only thing I do not like about him is that he is not pro-choice. I love his libertarian views I do not think a true libertarian would be pro-choice, they would be pro-life. Maybe that is that why he is running as a republican. He does have a passion for making $ that qualifies him as a republican. However he is not radical enough to win the nomination. Out of all the republican candidates I think he is the best. Best of luck to Ron Paul! I wouldn't give him my $
He'w not really pro life so much. Personally he is. I'm fine with that. He is simply against any federal law one way or another. They were never given that authority. Plus it's not like Roe V. wade actually legalized abortion. Abortion existed before at a state level. The problem in Roe v. wade is that in legalizing choice ( third trimester abortions) It set a federal precedent. On the other hand he said the abortion issue really won't come too much into play when he chooses justices anyway.
Earnest heh I did not know that. That is a great name for this man. Great Video!

I'm pro-apathy when it comes to abortion. It's a ridiculous wedge issue that really doesn't affect many people.

You're saying that the government should replace juries????
vidmanx0 4 years ago
There are no juries in the courts I'm talking about.

A true libertarian would leave it up to the states to choose if they want to be pro-choice or pro-life.
srice555 4 years ago
A true libertarian would understand that a more localized form of oppression isn't any better than federal oppression.
The fundamental principle of libertarianism is the non-aggression principle, not federalism.

How is saying "If you don't like Virginia, you can get out!" any different than saying "If you don't like America, you can get out!"
Both cede authority of your property to the state.
