Look at Europe or South-east Asia and you see that countries with tighter gun control have less gun related fatalities and less violent crime. Switzerland does have a low murder count but also much more suicide rate than other countries by use of their service weapons which each Swiss adult gets to take home in case of war.

1) No one is advocating hunting with non-approved weapons by the game and fish commission, never less fully automatic weapons.
2)"Assault Weapon" is a fake term not recognized by any military or gun manufacturer. It's just to make non-wooden guns sound evil.

We have even more retarded laws than that in Canada... AR-15's are restricted, which means you can only buy them if you belong to a gun club, and can only use them at said club... However, Robinson XCR, CZ 858, IMI Tar-21, Swiss Arms 550 semi, H&K SL8 (civilian version G36) and so on are all non-restricted...
Oh, an the FN FAL is prohibited, so basically no one is allowed to own one..

NRA's own charter restricts it to only actively operating in the United States. We do however have the CSSA (Canadian Shooting Sports Association) and the NFA (National Firearms Association). And truth be told, the NRA might be a bit too big for it's own good.

They're right. Here in Australia they banned semi automatic rifles, even .22's and pump action shotguns. Now they're making motions toward restricting pump and lever action rifles and anything considered long range "sniper rifles". One police comissioner actually said that calibers like .300 win mag should be banned because they can shoot flat for up to 5 miles. Apparently he knows something about physics we don't. Let them ban even one type of gun and you'll end up with none.

You shouldn't need an organization to protect your rights for you. Do it yourself. What I also don't get it is why the fuck no senators or legislatures were tried for treason? OBviously the knowingly violated the constitution.. that = treason, yet they were just let off the hook? Unacceptable.

I think this is pretty weak. The NRA goes on about "Preserving your right to hunt and sport shoot" when the 2nd ammendment has 0 to do with hunting or sport shooting. A simple research into the 2nd ammendment will tell you it's to have the ability to overthrow the government if it becomes destructive.
