She needs to listen to us consumers about our cry for "stop doin drugs and pull your life together" Again, I have her CDs. The last one I have is, " Its not right"..then she slips into drugs again. lol. I have seen 09 AMA...she did well not her best but she delivered. I konw I am harsh on her about her drug addiction but we should not tolerate that behaviour. Not a role model.

@joaquin66, what your saying is true. she is in the spotlight so she should be a role model. but thats her struggle of her life. she's not "glamorizing" drugs. she's not putting drugs in her music like some rappers do. was i disappointed with Whitney? yes. but i know shes not perfect. and now shes back, and she's showing the younger generation that you can come out of what she went through.

Make more money go into movies, etc. My only concern is that her addiction, which she falls in and out of, be emulated by younger generation. Is she glamorizing drugs? Is she a good role model? SHe did try so many times to get better. But when is enough? When do we throw the towel? on her 10th rehab...I am just worried about the younger generation. Peace.

you know the thing about this singer is if you listen closely shes not actually hitting the notes. somebody said she sounds exactly like whitney, but that couldnt be futher from the truth. is this girl a good singer? yes. but if you really listen she's not quite hitting the notes. im not to familliar with this singer, so it might be just in this video.

maybe your not familiar with stereo sound. The mic/audio had a stereo output. Its very risky for any singer to sing live in that circumstance because it reduces the echoes, inflictions, nuances of a singer. She did unremarkably well with the song. Now watch her sing it live on other shows with full orchestra, sounds different? Try watching her sing this on David Foster and friend video then compare to CD of same , really different. Its because stereo reduces background noise, nuances, etc.

I personally think she sounds different than Whitney. She can hit those notes however. With all due respect to Whitney, this is live singing even Whitney chokes on her own song (check her singing this song live@ the Grammys 1992 or 95). She definetely chokes. Charice may have similarities but definitely different timbre. THey are both distinct. With regard to the CD, vocally she sounds about the same. Mind you CD's have a lot of editing, backtrack are much better, etc. So, its really preference.

@joaquin66 whitney didnt "choke" when she sings this song. you are reffering to the 94' Grammys. which was one time. but that still didnt effect the performance at all. it still was amazing. and whitney sang this song just as good as the CD version and sometimes better. Whitney usually sings her songs better live anyway. but im gonna have to check this Charice out, because it sounds like she's really good.

Whitney is human, and she has flaws. but she's geting better, and is still just so great. did you see Whitney at the AMA's 2009? she really delivered. so im sure you "can mention few more Whitney's screw up". but she's picking herself up, and thats all that matters.
