I am taking Police Foundations in college next year so I might be able to understand the gun laws more. I noticed that you said that center fire arms are restricted to 5 shot capacity.I beleive that only applies to semi auto centerfire rifles.Doesn't apply to pump or lever action centerfire firearms.You could buy a non prohibited pump shotgun that holds 7 or 8 rounds or a Marlin 336 or 1895 that hold 6 to 12 rounds depending on model and caliber.

I own a cz-858 and am happy it isn't restricted. Sucks that I have 4x 30 round mags that they cap at 5 rounds though. Anyways It isn't prohibited due to Them putting a longer barrel on it and then welding blocks into the receiver to keep you from just picking up the full auto assembly and dropping it in. Also the internals are completely different from the AK. It also wont fire full auto with a simple rigging job like you could do with an AK. So I guess we got lucky sort of.

My bf seems to think he can do what he want when the guns r in the house.he brings his hand gun to bed with him unloaded with bullets in the room. not sure how to deal with him when it comes to the law about guns.

I own a cz-858 and am happy it isn't restricted. Sucks that I have 4x 30 round mags that they cap at 5 rounds though. Anyways It isn't prohibited due to Them putting a longer barrel on it and then welding blocks into the receiver to keep you from just picking up the full auto assembly and dropping it in. Also the internals are completely different from the AK. It also wont fire full auto with a simple rigging job like you could do with an AK. So I guess we got lucky sort of.

Nice rifle shoots much Better than that Chinese POS AK you can see in one of my vids.field strips with no tools at all and is Surprisingly accurate. I'd like to get into pistol collecting but not like I'd be able to take them out to the farm and shoot them like I do with my other non-restricted toys. And I'm not willing to dish out 200$ a year to join a shooting club. I'd love a few restricted toys but with the canadian gun laws right now, they'd be rather useless to me.

it can be worse, over here in The Netherlands most people may not have guns at all, all kind of ridiculus laws over here so the people with guns are mostly the criminals, you are not even allowed to have a gun for home/family protection or whatever.

No laws are perfect. We certainly do not want to fall into the trap the US is in. Our gun problem is much less than theirs. Also it is obvious that each gun fits into a criteria that puts it in its respective category. Overall we have a pretty good system, yet managed poorly.

It does not. When did I say that gun control would solve all gun crimes. I did not say that either. I never got anything in the mail ether witch seems kind of funy because when you need sickers for your car they send that 2 months ahead of time in the mail. i think I was set up , but oh well now I can still go and buy an Ar 15
