It couldn't just stop or increase linearly. If you made a graph of how much debt we were in from 2006-2012, you'll notice that within the past year and half Obama has decreased the rate we were going into debt. However, we will still be going into debt for the next few years.
1: $7 million is nothing to Warren Buffet. It's called percentages dumbass. What you're saying is that for example: $50 is worth the same to a poor person as a rich person. Corporations' tax credit is 14% while poor workers' tax credit is 35%.

I could tell you why you're wrong about each of these "misstatements", but I'll just focus on the first one.
It isn't a "misstatement" at all. He's talking about billionaires needing to pay as much in taxes as their secretaries AS A PERCENTAGE of income. He's not saying the exact dollar amount must be the same.
And the rich easily avoid income taxes (which would be higher than secretaries) by making it so that their primary source of revenue is investment income which is capped at just 15%.
For those questioning the first section of the video...take your pick. What Obama said was either a mistake or an attempt to deceive.. Calling it a misstatement is actually giving him the benefit of the doubt. Obama was talking about percentages earlier, but in this statement he says Buffet's secretary will pay more. I can bet that many people watching were confused by it. Again, misstatement or deception. Considering he was using a teleprompter...calling it a misstatement is a gift.
