Okay that was harsh but the dodge ram had the option of putting the cummins 6bt common rail motors into their pick up trucks in 1989 and they still are doing so. the cummins corporation has a contract with dodge and only dodge to use their motor in a small sized pick ups. ford can use them only in their commercial trucks and ONLY their commercial trucks.
