Today with the power of media you don't need to be a great singer to make it big and put your name out there. This has led to mediocrity. Villazon, you are the best example.
Except for Juan Diego Flores, all the ones he mentioned are quite mediocre singers who are amateurs compared to Franco Corelli, Mario del Monaco, Gigli, etc.
He said that people are very happy with today's singers. Yes, the ignorant and uneducated are quite entertained and amused by your media circus. Clown!!
