L0L than you are the idiot for not doing the exact same thing as in the Video. Becuase i Did this more than 50 times already and it never delete'd 1 DLC, Save Game, Profiel. So tell me who is the idiot.
not a single one. Played Res5 and COD 5 just yesterday and didn't have a single problem, other than the usual one you can get when playing online (although I didn't get any of them yesterday)
1. for other games such as gears/ cod can u do the update if u delete all the patches for the xp glitch, can u keep doing it and then when you go on one of them games it updates the game thanks mate
Oh also, im not sure if erasing your patches on your xbox 360 console will mess up your Shiverring Isles update or not..im guessing it would due to how it effects all the other patches on Oblivion.
If it helps anyone else i have erased my patches to do the RESIDENT EVIL 5 gold egg duplication trick and once you update it again everything seems to be fine...no problems yet.
One problem tho...if you completed a patch like that MEHRUNES RAZOR mission (sorry cant remember the actual name) the game classes the mission as BRAND NEW and you will have to get your special item at the end of the lvl all over again. Basically it erases your mission progress with regards to updates.
In relation to johnny rv's question about the oblivion updates...The reason you cant play the expansion pak is because it was a download and is classed as a 'patch' and you havnt chosen to update the game. Once you update oblivion whenever you choose to, the expansion paks will all be there AND all of your duplicated items will be there too.
No, those updates (dashboard) are saved on an internal chip, so is completely separate to the HDD. Hope this helps. Btw, cheers for the video Lord0Link, helped with Fallout glitching.

I just meant lagging, but that is probably because of the server, and my school fixed our server recently, so it is much better now.

Yes it does but that is the only way to do this glitch with the update(patch) removed.
You just can't do it online because game will spam you with the update.
