The song was a one hit wonder designed to convey a public awareness message to the Kenyan population.
When I was about 5-6, my folks used to take us to watch plays by a co. called Mbalamwezi players. I recall most of this crew from there, including Jimmy Gathu.
That was circa 1989' - 1990'.
All these folks are now in their very late 30s & early 40s (Yes EVEN the 3 beautiful wiminz)
I have seen this for the first time. Can the older folks please shed some light on when this song was done, who were the other people in the video apart from Jimmy Gathu, na wanafanya nini siku hizi?
Lyk we alway do, -Lack originality!! I aint hatin so dont get me wrong but i feel betrayed. Am black or rather Kenyans are, so why dont we just simply Act Kenyan.

One heavy dose of nostalgia. Between the dress sense and tha fact that we still had roads, i'm in raptures.
