  • i'd like to hear this with the vocals so badly....

  • Dat Quartet!<3

  • It's very nice the first time I heard this was on Classic FM (UK) a few years ago during a late night program.

  • @DoctorJK3 I heard this 14 years ago, a friend borrowed his cd, than i loved it. I never forgot this sound. If you want to find the album try at classical and instrumental tracks.

  • this is so beautiful!

  • I've been searching for this song since 2004. I can't really recall what happened, but somehow this, and a few Apocalyptica songs appeared on my Morrowind game. I found the Apocalyptica songs, but not this, until now. It has so much sentimental value to me. (: This will always be one of my favorite things to listen to.

  • FANTASTIC!!!

  • Decent, a little too close to the original.

Would've been better as an original sounding piece ....with strains of the Model interspersed throughout. As is, it's a little boring.

  • ,,,no cóż...super...

  • 1:51 could be better, but it's ok :)

  • Merci au film "Libre échange" de faire connaître une musique aussi belle.

  • Sounds really great, though I can't say I'm a fan of violin music.)

  • i love this song! glad it's finally on youtube, thanks for posting this!

  • wonderfull violin dance :) goes deep in your heart

  • ****** Official facebook/BalanescuQuartet ******

  • love it!

  • OMG I love it

  • is there a download for this?

  • @ether44 Do you know "any video converter"? I use that for downloading from YouTube. It is completely free. Try it!

  • @Kraftwerkification thanks!

  • @ether44 buy a CD...

  • @ether44 of course on youtube with real player download this video and transform it on MP3 :):):)

  • the doublebass and violin from 2:21

    omg

  • Excellet. I like it!

  • we dance tango on this song :)

  • @dodiezresibemol Really? That's nice! :D

  • @Kraftwerkification yup :) and I really like dancing on it! Usually Fridays at the tango practicum we can afford dancing tango on non-tango!

  • damn.. that violin gone straight to my heart :)

  • Great rendition of the greatest Kraftwerk song ever.

  • Found this in a compilation and I am in total love with it, really makes me happy. I've been playing it straight after I woke up for this whole week and the rest of the day would look just beautiful to me =D

  • Pure genius, it sounds every bit as lovely, flirtatious and capricious as a model.

  • ... teremtőm , ugye a hegedűt az emberrel együtt teremtetted ...

  • Foarte frumos si interesant! Bravos!

  • @MrSKINFLICK I think you're gonna be insulted for this comment by Kraftwerk fans. Be careful!

  • @Kraftwerkification:A lot of electronic bands were not even influenced by Kraftwerk.I don´t think Thomas Leer/Robert Rental or The Human League or Heaven17..or or or..took any influence from Kraftwerk-they were just originals(and much much better)themselves. Were DAF influenced by you?

A synthesizer is an sound machine where certain structures are so similar that they seem to be an influence by someone else-which of course is logical nonsense.I had my own band+synth+everything repeats itself!

  • @MrSKINFLICK Other thing. Kraftwerk IS one of the most influential band in the electronic scene. It doen NOT mean they've had to influence every las one of the leading electronic groups. For instance they had influenced Orchestra Manoeuvers in the Dark (their leader announced a couple of times, how much he loves Kraftwerk), Depeche mode, Iggy Pop, Vintage, Soft cell, David Bowie, YMO, Koto etc.. So pleas, don't be so negative!

  • @Kraftwerkification MrSkinFlick... you're right... up to a point: Kraftwerk ARE overrated, though they have made some nice, and I mean NICE tracks. Nothing more, nothing less. Human league were more influenced by Giorgio Moroder, Wendy Carlos, the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, etc. than by Kraftwerk. And though Kraftwerk charted in Britain, they were hardly known there. Nowadays claiming you were influenced by Kraftwerk is a bit like claiming to have been part of the Underground/Resitance in WW II

  • @macintosser:Especially because this channel Kraftwerkification is run by members of Kraftwerk i find this theory extremely absurd.I played synthesizers+programmed sequencers myself. All their structural patterns return,in fact you have NOT so much creativity on a synthesizer alone than on other instruments but you can integrate a synthesizer excellently in studio work. But the basic structural patterns of synthesizer sound WERE NOT INVENTED by Kraftwerk, they will necessarily always return!

  • @Kraftwerkification:If for instance Chuck Berry wanted to count+tell all the peopleHE"influenced"somehow he could be chatting for 2days.

Is that your purpose in the world to"prove"how many people were"influenced"by you(even if they were influenced only to a small extent+for a very short period).

Don´t make yourself ridiculous.David Bowie may have said nice things about you,but he was there BEFORE YOU+ always had his own self-developed style. The Low/Heroes stuff doesn´t even sound like Kraftwerk.

  • @MrSKINFLICK I will send you the film "Kraftwerk, and the electronic revolution". See for yourself.

  • @MrSKINFLICK i agree kraftwerk were highly inflential making and creating instruments so people could achieve the electronic sound after them, there are other influences but kraftwerk hands down rule the roost of electro influence

  • @robotechian23rd:I suggest you listen to the Go+ 12inch EP which was edited together with XTC´s second LP "Go2" in 1978,on this EP (which is an strange parody of their own LP which was already avantgarde enough) mastermind Andy Partridge remixed parts of the whole album, what he did was a kind of anticipation of later Techno. The DJs in Chicago, Detroit+New York listened to XTC, Tangerine Dream, DAF+lots of other stuff including Kraftwerk. The Go+ EP is very rare now+not here on YT.

  • @MrSKINFLICK Pff? What? It is not mockery. It is a cover. Look, you have your own reason not to like Kraftwerk. That's fine! But what on Earth do you have to force your oppinion to others. For instance I hate Lady Gaga, and I think it is a low quality sh***, what she does, because thousand of others could do that, but I don't insult the Lady Gaga fans by throwing to them: "This is a load of shit! Suck on it!"

  • @Kraftwerkification:Did i say that i didn´t like a single Kraftwerk track? But there you´re right-my preferences are more with DEVO,The Human League or Leer/Rental."The Model"is also principally R&R structure,so why are there(a few)Kraftwerk fans despising DEVO as if they had ripped off the whole Kraftwerk repertoire+mixed it with"punk".DEVO started their concepts in college about 1970+did first live performances in 1973.And what is"Punk"?A music style? Some people just throw around with "terms".

  • @Kraftwerkification: At least i like the very early stuff like Ruckzuck....LOL !

  • @MrSKINFLICK bollocks kraftwerks music is beautiful and granted some are shit and cheesy but they are amazing

  • @robotechian23rd: Read my other comments and explanations i wrote here today....i cannot waste my time on such topics endlessly.

  • @robotechian23rd:There a lot of other German electronic bands who influenced pop from the 70s till today:Neu,Cluster,Tangerine Dream,Faust,La Düsseldorf,Can ,DAF,just to name a few:Do they boast around how awfully important they allegedly were for the music world+how many bands they allegedly influenced? What disturbs me is the arrogance around Kraftwerk+their fans. You obv. never played a synthesizer yourself-because then you would know that typical synth patterns cannot be"invented"by Kraftwerk!

  • @MrSKINFLICK

You are really.embarrasing yourself. It´s unwillingly funny.

Almost everything you are writing here is bullshit. How do you do that? Please tell me that you are just trolling or it is some sort of satire.

I will not waste my time to correct all the nonsense you`ve produced here - but I wanna get one thing right:

Come on - the band members of Kraftwerk are NOT running the channel "Kraftwerkification" (although it`s pretty good)

    I mean ......hello? LOL

  • @19861998:I will not waste my time on comments like that anymore.

I was just using my right for free speech here+if you cannot understand it then i don´t even feel sorry for you.

I´m a satirist sometimes-but not in this respect

Synthesizers ARE synthesizers+Kraftwerk did not invent them or their sound. Synthesizers function like synthesizers do-this is NOT the merit or an invention of Kraftwerk.

You idolize Kraftwerk, that´s your good right-but also ONLY a subjective feeling

    Get smart some day!

  • @MrSKINFLICK

You`re free to say what you want. (Like the earth is a disk) But I`m free to call it nonsense.

a.) You can play on a synth whatever you want. Kraftwerk created their unique style. They were not playing Reggae or Mambo, eh?

b:) Kraftwerk started to use sequencers in 1977 (on Trans Europe Express - a custom build device). The electronic drums and basslines on Autobahn / Radio-Acitvity were played by hand.

c.) You don`t need standard synthesizers to make electronic music.

  • @19861998:I am not embarrassing myself-because you obviously don´t know al lot about the history of pop music or when synthesizers or their sounds/effects were used first.

Neither the"rhythms"of Kraftwerk nor their use of electronic sounds are their original"invention"or property.

Tangerine Dream were existing with their somehow similar sound patterns 4 years before Kraftwerk´s Autobahn - period.

T.D. + Kraftwerk did NOT know each other back then!

Get smart about pop history - or stay silly !

  • @MrSKINFLICK

This post is the best example for your ignorant half-knowledge.

Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream knew each other very well - they were even doing concerts together (like on French TV 1973, the video is here on youtube)

But Tangerine Dream belongs to the Berlin School making "Cosmic Music" while Kraftwerk belongs to the Düsseldorf School - that`s urban music! Kraftwerk`s sound (vocals, danceable electro-beats, full electronic arrangement etc.) was unique at this time.

  • miel para mis odios!!! :D

  • i just came across this and i love it :)

  • I really like this song, It brightens my mood so muchh! :) <3

  • Hell yeah :DD \m/

  • They're brilliant!!!

  • Excellent
