  • I like the "In a Free sence" part LOL

  • Thanks for the mencoder tip! Now I can Finally do video editing on linux with videos from GTK-RecordMyDesktop

  • @YourTechAdmin Your welcome, glad it helped!

  • some stabilizer image like Deshaker for virtualdub ?

I have good videos but are moving a lot :(

  • ahhh...drop down button on the comments...i'm an idiot. Thanks again!

  • @mddonahoe Haha no worries, hate it when YouTube changes things - I can't find anything either.

  • Where do I find the show notes to get the command line entry to convert the ogv to avi.

Thanks for this vid, I've been trying to put this puzzle together for a while. Seems like all good editors do everything but ogv, and the only decent screen recorder only does ogv...frustrating.

  • @TOPSwebLLC They are in the show comments (under the video). Here you go: Command to convert from .ogv to .avi:

    mencoder original.ogv -ovc xvid -oac mp3lame -xvidencopts pass=1 -o output.avi

  • Thank you!

  • Hi, What audio codec did you put there? I searched everywhere, but nothing. Tnx!

  • @Cristy2603 Hey there... ended up just changing the current one they had by default, to: acodec=libmp3lame

  • Finally they made a Video editor for Linux.

  • @Ninesvnsicks Ya, no kidding huh!

  • You get the weirdest wallpapers, lol

  • @cjclaxon HAHA, well, with the dual screens, and the size of them, there aren't too many free wallpapers available.

  • nice that you are making linux videos

  • @DarthScape Thanks... I sorta miss making these short little vids.. .hopefully I can be more informative.... I notice I'm not giving as much detail as I would like.
