California has a law like that and I forgot the name but its if you let someone ease onto your land and don't stop it after a year or so then they have rights to it. Law has been challenged here alot because people would make gates in their back yards and there is a open lot behind them so they had access and they get pissed when the owner of the lot puts up a fence or something.
People sued and won because they got cars stuck where they had no way out but strip them lol..
One thing I do if a cop tries to pull me over in a dark secluded roadway is I turn on the light in the cab of my van, I signal well before any turn and I take the cop where I want to be pulled over, usually it would be a well lit busy gas station or restaurant.. It hasn't happened yet but I do have a voice recorder in my van just in case to shove in my shirt pocket and record the cop, at least that way there is a record of any events. Any cop, in any country in any detachment can be rogue.
MadBad, you're a good guy, I'm enjoying the story! As one of the few Canadians who believes in Gun rights and a version of the 2nd amendment being a human right I stand by you as you fight this battle. It's upsetting that things like this happen.

I even had to have the California State Police aka CHP remove 5 squad car loads of city police from our property at one point. But in the end we lost it all. Crooks all the way up the line. I have NO respect for the police anymore. Nothing more than paid thugs.
