Well I know I watched your last piano vid, even with the poor quality like 5 times. I thought it was good. But I've also noticed the more I do technique and then mess around the more the piano starts singing.

moderation is the key in which to play, is it not?

i suppose one decides how much to practice and how much to mess around by what sort of musician they'd like to be.

70:30 is good for one who hopes to be a nicely balanced player - even 60:40 makes one too technical i think.

90:10 is good for one who hopes to be frustrated by how much quicker their musical ideation is than their fingers.

i think maybe 80:20 could be interesting, and i might try it, after i fuck around a bit more.
