If u dont like it, don't watch it. And for that old school with so much to say, ur probably trash on a bike. U can't do nothing new on a bike that's y ur old school. Hater. Can u bust moves like Chad, leo, or Jesse p? I bet my life u couldnt.
@SonicBoomBmx You can pretend you didn't read it, but the reality is this: steamrollers, back- and halfpackers, hitchhikers, death trucks, and pretty much all of the fundamentals you see being done these days in spastic circles were all invented between 1987-88. So 23 years later, 90% of flatland videos on youtube are mostly steamrollers or variations on the above mentioned tricks. There's been progress, yes, but very little in the past few years. If you disagree, I'm happy to listen.
@belowthepovertyline Those tricks are the most basic positions riders use its how you link them is what matters the most....I can name over 50 ways to get in a halfpacker just at the top of my head...switches are progressing not riding positions. You cant invent a new color! Compere flatland to park riding, you got tailwhips,360,barspins,backflip,everything else is mostly variations. If you find Martti Kuoppa on vimeo you will see that he invents a new switch every week.
@SonicBoomBmx I'm a old school flatlander, and I've seen the progression over the years. The flatlanders today are nothing short of mind-blowing and I've nothing but respect for them. But everything revolves around variations of steamrollers mostly, and if the mindset is that all tricks must be spinning and switching, then nothing new (NEW!) will be invented. It doesn't help going brakeless either, that limits riders a LOT. I guess I just think flatland could be far more than it is...
@SingJiya Yeah, I hear you. Notice on this vid how people clap for the decade at 2:05 and not for all the steamroller spinning stuff beforehand. I don't think flatland has made any progress in quite some time--it's progressed to what you see here, and now all the riders are doing pretty much the same stuff.

This type or riding bores me, whatever happened to the real BMX freestyle? All I see is this stupid wheelie stuff and it all looks the same.
