Does anyone know where that picture was taken? I've never seen that show anywhere - I can only guess it was never filmed. Can anyone shed any light on it?

Hi Kingchief, that picture is from the tv show "This is... Tom Jones" it was recorded on Wednesday 16th April 1969 at the ATV studio centre, Boreham wood, in studio C, and they mimed to Pinball Wizard. It was aired in the USA on ABC on the 18th April. In the UK it was shown on Southern TV on the 18th April 8.00pm - 9.00pm. And on the main ITV region two nights later at 10.20pm - 11.20pm.

john had a very versatile voice. his solo albums (especially smash your head against the wall) sound like several different vocalists, but it's all him.
