The best part is the people who feel that because they claim to like it they are somehow intellectually superior - because suddenly taste and art appreciation are a means to brag or bolster ones own ego. That is arrogance. I have never enjoyed abstract art - it certainly does not take a genius in many cases to create it. It is disgusting to me that a few circles on a canvas can and have fetched millions. Pomposity at its finest.
