Propaganda, just like North Korea. Another US backed regime. I'm not talking about the Thai ( siamese ) people... Thai's have been long enough export product slaves of the west. They need to go forward.
This was the version I saw of this song/video when I first visited Thailand back in December 2009, and even though I don't speak Thai and can therefore not understand what is being sung, I always find it moves me deeply.
As someone who writes music myself, I find this a very powerful piece, and if I knew who was responsible for orchestrating this particular version, I'd like to shake that persons hand and congratulate them on a superb job!
Been working in Bangkok for more than 3 years, and every Friday, which happens to be my day off, I always go to the cinema and watch a movie. This song always makes my hair rise. I dont know why but I just cannot get used to this. Maybe because of the dept of the meaning of this song, which unfortunately, I dont bother to understand. But 3 years of living here and I still get the chills everytime I hear this song.
I despise all monarchy and the brainwashed sychophantic toadies that prop it up around the world. Royalty is parasitic, an elite family and its entourage who live in opulence while those around them languish in poverty. Poor people who grovel to the mega rich and powerful are beneath contempt.
i was born in thailand but thruout my life i have been staying in india,whenever i hear thai national song or the royal thai king song, my heart filled with nostalgic and eyes filled with tears,and i have to admit i really love our king,and people of thailand.I feel fortunate to be associated with them. Long live the king.
I've lived three years in thailand (one in bangkok, and two on Koh Samui). i have to admit every single time I went to the cinema and saw this message I have tears coming to my eyes. Rama 9 is a great king, the people of Thailand love him very much and he has done much for them. Long live the King,
I'm not Thai, but i've lived in Thailand for more than a year now. its not like they're brainwashed, its really their love and compassion for their king. i mean, isnt that great? its sooooo good to know that one country is actually loving their own leader and not wasting their time rallying in the streets carrying posters saying they want their president or king to go down.
@xoxoMrRosexoxo I don't think it's brainwashing per se either.
But you've gotta admit, a piece of music like this is very cogent and could work to 'sway' people. I actually think this kind of tribute works best on farangs, in that although sung in Thai, the music obviously done in a classical or European style (orchaestral), and for connoisseurs of fine music, this isn't half bad! Especially the chorus at the end.
Gets me all choked up and I'm a bit of a King Bhumibol skeptic - lol! : /
It's a way the Thai rulers use to brainwash Thai people. Imagine if you see this movie, or hear the song since you were born but you have no way to hear any criticism about him, your brain is limited to only one thinking. It's hard to open Thai people's eyes, becuase of the lese majesty law.
Sorry! I meant to put the thumbs down on the guy below you!! ฉันเห็นด้วยกับคุณ เขาเป็นคนน่าทึ่งและด้วยเหตุนี้เขาจึงเคารพในประเทศนี้. Long live the King
@XBOX12AB I'm thai, was born there. Got to admit i cant sing the national anthem anymore since Ive grown up in england. but i still respect and love our king. and thai people are not brained washed, people respect and love him becasue his done so much for the country. and its not him who broadcasts these messages and puts pictures of him all over the country it is the people of thailand, so before you say all this shit get educated. LONG LIVE THE KING
@MrBananaExpress If youre so educated then you should know everything starts with brainwashing. The people that put up the pictures of the king have been brainwashed since babies. But i do like Thailand like always.... but it should be a better place than this and not all hostile and corrupted and wanting to conquer other countries that are less fortunate than Thailand. Youre forgetting Thai because you want to be white.
I always remember The Royal Anthem, I sing when i was in school everyday before go back home....One thing in my life never forget how to sing The royal Anthem...
Happy all the time to stand up and sing before seeing movie
Bullshit! Its a kind of brainwash propaganda: The Thai King is the most riches monarch in the world and he does not care when poor Thai Isaan women sell their cheap pussy to tourists! The King and his family members have their business in redlight disdtric, earning tons of cash and never pay tax. The royal family has transferred billons of dollars in the Swiss Bank!!!! As long as this moron rules the country there will be no democracy and freedom of speech in Thailand.
Hi, any idea where I can buy this version of this Thai Royal Anthem? I wish the King good health and a speedy recovery as he has been in hospital for some time now.
