Amazing. Science-based surgery surely represents the some of the highest achievements of civilised society. Anti-scientists (religious fundamentalists of all persuasions) surely represent our greatest failures.
omg neural surgerists are just wizards ... ive got 2 surgeries -frontal-right hemisphere- 2005 (ast II) 2011 (ast III recurrency). im making normal life atm and looking forward radio+chemiotherapy stops a globastiome, wich might come within 3-5 years.
All the best to all those having hard time because of brain cancer. Is a deep shit, but also we have the better technology and specialists.
Fuck. I'm a biomed engineer. Stuck my hands in live pigs, watched human lenses get replaced. I''ve got a cog sci degree. Fuck. This is so intense. I built an ESG so I know what they're burning.
the docs gave the patient nearly 3 years. Sweet.
Damn.
If I were a good boy in my next life I'd be a surgeon. But that's not me.
