When Obama wrote his book Dreams from My Father. He wrote of his father in Kenya how he hoped of changing Kenyan Gov. & the world to Socialism & Marxism. How prophetic of a man to identify with the land of his father. Obama did not write Dreams from My Mother & of America 4 his source of inspiration dreams, & aspirations. Obama wrote of his father & goals for Socialism & Marxism as his inspiration & dreams of what he wanted to accomplish in America & for the  world.

LOL...this is the man, who today, at a speech at some church, stated that he believes America will soon become a secular, atheist nation dominated by radical Islamists.

I believe that we Americans are wrong. We demand more resources then we need. The reason is because most every American does not understand what its like for people in other countries. The old "American Dream" is ignorant. We only see the world through a Stubborn Christian White Male lens. We do not understand the suffering of others so we have no sympathy. Reality check: unemployment is historically lower in Democratic administrations, and it does not result in people "not working." Ronald Reagan abolished the savings rate, as well as ballooning the federal deficit. The decit of the right is easily destroyed by looking at historical fact. The New Deal put people to work, not the opposite.

Social conservatism and the whole "moral superiority" nonsense needs to go. Newt is very well known, and he's blunt, doesn't mince words. Conservatives like that in a candidate, as do I.

Verbally he would make Obama look like a little boy. Obama "umms" and "aahhhs" and is a very methodical speaker, always searching for the right words. Newt is sharper then him, and has better command of the facts/statistics, and a clearer core philosophy.

well I deeply agree with you that social conservatism is nonsense, you will find no argument there. and in that regard, I respect you because fiscal conservatism is entirely acceptable. but with the modern GOP, the two, social and fiscal, are almost inseparable, lest the party fractures, which would surely guarantee the resulting two parties to be marginalized significantly.

How I so wish Newt Had been in a position politically to run for President. Even if he failed, he would have articulated conservative principles like no one else. Instead, we are about to embark on what will probably be a massive socialist experiment. Ironically, the people who cried most for "change" will end up being the ones crying the most later on.
