The steel in the towers did not melt, it was heated to a temperature(like that you see in a blacksmith shop) softening it and it could not hold up the building. The building was of a unique construction and the fireproofing was compromised when the jet fuel exploded making the heating of the steel faster. In the other building fires, the normal amount of combustables were present and were comsumed before the steel heated to the weakening point.

I was surprised to hear about a fire in the Deutsche Bank Building several days ago (coincedently read on english wikipedia).
There wasn't any report on german news that a fire in that skyskraper burned for so long and the building didn't collapse.
I guess this is important information because for the attacks of 911 it was reported a hundred times that the wtc towers collapsed due to molten steel girders caused by fire...

Why don't you find out about the strange evacuation drills performed weeks before 911. Find out about a weekend shut down of the towers to "install new cables" that was unpresidented. Learn of fine dust that was floating through the ventilation system from drilling on many floors. Try and research the happenings leading up to 911....learn before you act like you know.
Ive seen the insides of buildings rigged to blow. Wires and explosives strung up everywhere. How in the hell could they of rigged the towers without anybody noticing and still have enough ot bring the buildings down?
The towers collapsed in on themselves when the area around the impact gave way. All the falling rubble crushed the lower floors of the tower taking them with it. Its really quite simple.
