Thats excenllent footage, I love a man in uniform and funnily enough i've had penpals in the US forces, especially on the ships, i've been emailing the troops, you guys are so brave and you do a damn fine job, keep up the good work.

I was a final cat checker in 1978 on board USS Independance (now in prep for artifical reef) for the RA5C Vigilante. Lots of flight deck time on the Med Cruise. Thanks for bringing back some old time memories
I've spent a good amount of time on Nimitz as well. I've got 5 traps and about 10 cat shots off the flight deck aboard C2 "COD" plane. you've got some nice footage here...like the music in the back too. I went down to the fan tail a couple of times when the FA18 were landing...that was so damn scary when there coming in, looks like there gonna crash right into you.
I agree with Spentr, plus the nimitz doesnt have S-3s

I too have spent some time on Nimitz CVN-68 I was In Air Dept.. V-2 Cats and A-Gear. 94-98 Nice video .

too bad thats not the nimitz, i JUST GOT OFF THE NIMITZ AND THE REDCOCKS ..(THE JET WITH THE BIRD on it you saw taxing from aft) Isnt on the nimitz..
