äh for the technichal component: this is not a double leg xD in a double leg you rotate with your torso. the legs catch back up. in a side flip you use flipping motion by tucking and initiating the flipping moment by turning your body in the movement. and by the way its called a bio flip, and no it isn´t that either :D its just a fucking sideflip live with it
@Sk8rStu i learned the doubleleg in 2005 :D i can differenciate xD the "double leg style of flipping" is not that your back is parallel to the ground, cause if you for example look at the double leg on club 540 the back is not even nearly parallel. this style of motion simply comes by rotating through your torso and letting the legs catch back up. but your right its not a clear side flip ;) if you would ask me its just some flipping over a fence. but that clips old,i bet you can do it better now
@dodoficker22 so you're saying its better to not classify a flip at all rather than understand that it is a variation due to human difference in execution of the trick?
If you could watch it in slow motion, you would see that my torso twists before any another part of my body, and my legs have to catch up with it, this is what you just said the classification of a double leg was.
Nope, If you want to be technical about it the correct term for that execution of the trick is a Biro
For a double leg you have to flip with your BACK horizontal to the ground, for a sideflip you flip with your HEAD horizontal to the ground, making it a full side rotation
A double leg generally has piked legs, a Biro has tucked legs.
Either way, the Biro term is not very well known so I just call it a Double Leg because it is a variation of that trick

As you will see, during the flip my back is parallel to the groud.
Back parallel to the ground = double leg style of flipping
A double leg also starts slightly tilted forward and lands in a backwards direction.
In a sideflip you will start tilted sideways, rotate over your HEAD (not back) and land sideways.
I've been doing both for 4 years, I know the difference.
You find it hard to understand because I use both speed and torque of my torso, and my legs are not piked.
