Thanks so much for your video. I recently purchased this and was not sure how to approach it. My hair stylist damaged my hair severely now I have to repair it. I am looking forward to the results.
Hey, great review, I've never tried either and i don't know whether to go for the restorative one or the brown one. I have super split endy hair...what do you think?
i have the brown top one and it was given to me cuz i was not going to pay 40 dollars for it. it is really really great for my hair because i flat iron it a lot.
@tayygan - Depends where in Canada you live. I live in Newfoundland and there is a store called Professional Beauty Supplies that is in St. John's. I bought the whole set like the Moroccan Oil Shampoo, Conditioner, hair mask and the oil treatment. It was a bit much but it is well worth it, I think. I have not used the mask yet but will be.
Two things I noticed when I started this video: Your eyes are beautiful. Have the always been like that?! They remind me of the beautiful beaches we have here on Guam. Also, your hair is really...wow. Is that your natural hair color or is it dyed? Really nice (:
@charlyhearts08 it's not to do with the exchange rate, it's to do with the price they charge consumers here. I guess they set a higher price because Australia has a smaller market. Compare the population of 22 million with the U.S of 500 million (If I am correct). Dying to go to the U.S. just to shop though! LOL!
i loveee the macadmian oil deep repair mask its made exactly like this one. very paste like form. its amazinggggg it makes my hair look amazing for the next couple days. ive gotten so many compliments. im anxious to try this after im done with the macadamian one :)
i am saving up for that bc my hair is crazy curly frizzy mess and i hav to flat iron it a lot or use lots of product just to get my hair to look presentable and my hair is very damaged. i cut off as much as i could but i dont like my hair too short so i think this might be the product for me. thanx so much for the review i hav been eyeing it but i was afraid of wasting that much money on something that didnt work hopefully it works as well for me as it did 4 u. thanx so much
My hair is twice as long as yours and I've never had a split end in my life, I'm sure sure why you think that because you have long hair you'll have split ends. Just sayin'
great review! thank you so much - this was very helpful. i love all of your videos, quality is amazing and you're so informative :) thanks allison! <3 dani
Sally's has a mask with very similar ingredients. It's called the One 'n Only Argan Oil Restorative Mask. I haven't tried it yet, but it might be a good alternative since it is under $10. I actually think my mom has it- might have to ask if I can use some. My hair is in the worst condition it's been in a while. I started highlighting it, and I've been using heat to style it- which I hadn't been doing for months.
@crystalbtrfly07 I bought the Sally one and have used it once. It works just as well as the Morroccan Oil brand. My stylist uses the M.O. brand one when she cuts my hair and I fell in love with it but didn't want to spend the money. The Sally version worked just as well. :-)
sweet! I'm glad you like this too.. I've seen some other people saying how much they love the Moroccan oil hair mask too and now I really think I should get it.
moroccan oil products are just silicons, they coat your hair, so they look an feel very good an smooth, BUT you can't get this layer off of your hair, so the hair under the silicon is still dry and damaged! If you once stop using silocons on your hair they will slowly be rinsed off and your hair will look horrible.
@makeuptemptations yes of course, why should i lie ;) you can google it, you should find sth like that, i'm from germany and here is a big discussion going on about silicons in hair products. and because i'm german it's a bit difficult for me to explain what realy happens, so just google :)
@Nanetscha I see, thanks for the info that's something I didn't know about! I'll research it for sure and wow Germany huh greetings from all the way in Utah, Salt Lake City :)
yeahh i def needa get this. ive been wanting to but just have been waiting idk y though. it should hopefully work on my hair. my hair is dead from dying it so much =O
I picked up the Hydrating one (the brown top) and I found it far more useful and just better. When I used the orange lid one I hated it! It actually made my hair feel matted and dry, I have no idea why or what happend because I know how morrocanoil is an excellent brand. I personally would never buy the orange lid one again, but the brown lid one...definitly.
You sell me on so many products(: haha. I love moroccan oil so I am sure i will LOVE this! My enjoy deep conditioner is running low so I will pick this up. Taking your word, thanks allison!
