although this video doesnt show what a range rover can REALLY do, its the best offroad video for a range rover i can find. but although the jeep wrangler and commander are the best offroad vehicles, this, along with all other land rovers, the g500 and gl 450 from mercedes take a good 2nd place in offroad. while in 3rd is like the toyota fj, tundra, and the dodge ram. hummers are pieces of shit though.

i used to sell fords as well lol. the thing with Fords is that they don't have the computers that the LR's have. If you every sit in a LR's the GPS monitor controls EVERYTHING for the LR. it tells you what direction the tires are pointing, if a wheel is slipping and another wheel is picking up its slack, and all the way to what mode you are in. Rock crawl, how high or low the vehicle is in, mud crawl, up or down hill, and etc. i have yet to see a Ford or toyota do what a LR can do

LRNA really should offer some good off highway tiers for the supercharged. The rubber it comes with is great for doing 100+ on the autobahn, but not so hot in the back country.

It's kind of like wearing your finest dress shoes while rock climbing.

I'm a big fan of the g500, those are great vehicles. I like how Mercedes hasn't changed the vehicle much over the years. The exhaust still winds all around to prevent it from back-tracking into the engine and the doors are really difficult to close for that great water-tight seal. The trim line on the sides is a marker for safe depth to ford up to!
