Well of all the machinimas I've come across thus far this has to be the one of the most.. Interesting pieces I've seen.

Honestly it felt as if the idea came from an immature gamer, but an immature gamer with a better idea of camera work and producing. I found it to be humorous, it was scripted well enough and the idea was original. The dialog of the elite was a really nice touch and made it really fun to watch for a second run, It played out well. But I still had a problem with it. Though you gentlemen usually exhibit good voice acting, the voice for Mark was a bit of an issue.

Now I'm not saying it was bad voice acting, but it was perhaps the wrong type of voice acting for the situation or just didn't match the mood being set. Mark was very loud and upset which is understandable, but the way he yelled made it sound more dramatic and perhaps a bit over done for the situation. And as he was bleeding with anger, Jack was way more calmer or at least wasn't over doing his lines.

This bad match up was also a big problem. Now once again I stress that none of you are bad voice actors. Many actors from time to time make that kind of mistake, I've seen many slip up. The real fault would probably be among the director or editor for being apathetic towards this issue.

But I suppose it was an innocent mistake, just remember to never rush a machinima and make sure you've perfected every detail of your video. That would have to be the biggest piece of advice for any machinimator, I've seen too many machinimators make that mistake. But besides the voice problem, the video was pretty okay. And even with the voice acting issue, the elites dialog made the video interesting enough to watch twice. It probably was the savior of the video.

Overall it was an interesting piece with good script work, good directing, but had a minor unfortunate mishap with one of the voices. So I'll give it probably some where from a 3.5-4/5. But because people seem to want a solid score I'll give it a 4/5. Good luck and I'm looking forward to your upcoming projects.

I liked it up to the end, but whoever was doing the screaming in the microphone just fucked the quality right in the ear. One of the voice actors was laying it on a bit too strong, too. But the Elite's commentary was pretty great to start with.
