do you have any comments regarding indie musicians turning 40? can we still make a name for ourselves?

If you are going for a major label deal, being 40 is not going to help. Being indie on the other hand doesn't discriminate. It boils down to you and what you want with your music. Make it happen. Don't let age stand in your way. I know many indie musicians who are even older and enjoying success with their music. What is your definition of success?

the current bass player for Megadeth is 51, he looks awesome and still rocking hard!
I'd say age doesn't matter, as long as you keep your body healthy and are still able to rock a stage... of sorts
