I WANT THIS!! I am willing to trade any of my tricks for this... I wil give 4 tricks for this one... Here is the tricks that I have: Alchemy by Ben Seidman Blind by Daniel Madison Window pain by BlakeVogt Center Point by Patrick Kun Dead cell by Daniel Garcia Untitled by Luke Dancy Raw Linkage by Marcus eddie uTurn by Marcus Eddie Scribble by Calen Morelli Suspended by Calen Morelli A change of heart by Shin Lim Fade by Chris Mayhew And some few more...
If the card can't immediately be handed to the spectator, they just think magnets or tape, and the magic is gone. "torn" and "reformation" endings seem necessary. But maybe in a laymens mind, this isnt true.
Why do people have to say: 'can be examined at the end'. This is why cards are signed. If we could keep that first phase, which is brilliant despite the angles, and somehow end with a hollingworth like reformation ending...how do we do that?
Hey guys. If you search Fourfit By Reuben Moreland and start scrolling down it looks like he's restoring the card and unrestoring it and restoring it over and over again
so i have the dvd now. you cant sign the card, but with an extra routine (which isnt included in the dvd) you could hand out the card. he discribes how u perform the handout ... but the whole routine is missing (selecting the card ... get the card from the spectator ... start the ripping routine .... and so on).
He gives you a hint how to do a handout. but u have to create your routine yourself.
@marthai666 I agree. The restorations look great, but everything in between is horrible and fidgety, and it's what's missing from the demo, which is a shame. This is not practical for the real world, or even for camera unless you're willing to cut away everything in between the restorations like the demo did. Even then, people will assume you're using sticky stuff or magnets or whatever else they can think of. I have yet to find a piece by piece restoration tnr that I like and would use.
Reuben. You have done it again. Well, in most people's minds done it for the first time. I'm Lee from SYM #42 (with Ben Zabin). I doubt you know me but I have seen you perform in many places and I'm a HUGE fan. You were great at NEMCON, should've won in Pittsburgh, but this trick really blows the roof of the place. Even though when I get this trick, show it to the SYM, I will definitely say it was yours. Everyone would be like: WOAH! Reuben has a debut magic effect. Anyway, astonishing effect!!!
BUEBAN!!!! nice trick bro i kno the method and it looks excellent in performance but i think im gonna stick with hollingworths routine still a great effect just to much for me.
I am a torn and restored card fanatic, and know a fair share of methods including Guy Hollingworth's reformation, torn by Daniel Garcia, Hoodwinked, ect., but this is one of my favorite piece by piece methods. Its so cleaver and super visual as you can see in the trailer, and for $23, you can't go wrong, it also has a few variations that make this torn and restored one of a kind. I can't wait to start performing this miracle.
it does look good, but I'm not sure if I'd use it or not because I've been performing with Wayne Houchin's T&R and that has got to be the coolest full restoration T&R I have ever seen, this one looks almost as good as Wayne's, but definitely not better, depending on the gimmicks involved it might be as good as Wayne's.
@LittleLead I dont think it's impromptu. No where is advertised, not even on the website, that it's impromptu. I'm sure there's a gimmick or at least some sort of setup. BUT on the bright side, it can be performed with a borrowed deck, it can be signed, the card can be shown after each restoration, and the restored card is examinable at the end! Sounds pretty damn awesome!
If the deck can be barrowed, there wouldnt be any switches, so it would be impossible, AESOME
