The engine on all Ferrari's are water cooled. If you "blow" the engine (blown cylinder head, blown a rod thru the block, etc) the coolent in the block or heads would be blown all over the rest of the hot bits and it would cause steam to shoot out. You could be right, but consider the OTHER possabilities as well. It would appear as though most of these comments were made by 6th graders.

I am 98% sure that this engine blow is fake. I studied a lot of similar videos and not in a single one the engine blows when it slows down. In this particular video the engine just before the blow is in the idle. And the driver applies the brakes the red lights come on. This is probably a smoke charge.

The engine on all Ferrari's are water cooled. If you "blow" the engine (blown cylinder head, blown a rod thru the block, etc) the coolent in the block or heads would be blown all over the rest of the hot bits and it would cause steam to shoot out. You could be right, but consider the OTHER possabilities as well. It would appear as though most of these comments were made by 6th graders.

To be fair you make a good point, but it still looks more like a hose, or like you said, the head, than a rod punching through the side of the block, most of the time wen that happens the engine will still keep going for a moment and make a hell of a racket! not to mention more OIL than coolant everywhere, and fire if your lucky enough.

I am 98% sure that this engine blow is fake. I studied a lot of similar videos and not in a single one the engine blows when it slows down. In this particular video the engine just before the blow is in the idle. And the driver applies the brakes the red lights come on. This is probably a smoke charge.

Why would they "fake" a blown engine? As a matter of fact, if you really studied the video, you would notice that although the brakes have been applied, the clutch is disengaged and the moter is being rev'ed in preperation to spin the car around again.
