  • omg that was great dude, keep up the awesome job

  • @budandJC thanks a lot, i need to do more Isis covers.. its just hard bc their shit changes a lot and they sometimes use 3 guitars

  • @keetongeer really nice comment!

  • lol I've always thought the intro is played with a bass guitar, but they're guitars are just so down-tuned

  • @omfgwtfbbq90 no i think you're right... it is a bass with a litte reverb on there it sounds like. They're might be one guitar on their too in the recording. Either way, i have to play that part so you know its this song. ha

  • @omfgwtfbbq90

The bass and one guitar are both doing that riff together.

  • You fucking nailed it dude, this is amazing.

  • @evanisgay11 thanks man. Isis is the fucking best.

  • @cliffMagriff By the way, what loop pedal are you using?

  • @evanisgay11 in this vid, akai headrush 2, now i use the boomerang III

  • I LOVE IT DUDE!!!!

  • @budandJC thanks!

  • DUUUUHHH DUUUHHH DAAHHH DAHHHH DAHH REEEEK "yeah"

  • @Deathmaker2354 exactly.

  • nice cover !! can you please tell me how to keep strings tight in such a low tuning?? does it have to do with my guitar or strings??

  • @alexmetallicaZFC13 oh man, im the worst person for these questions haha. I know so little about guitars its embarrasing. but i think the answer is to use a lower gauge strings, and to not flip back and forth between tunings a lot. So string your guitar with a lower gauge in the tuning you want, and leave it. Then change strings when you want to go back to a regular tuning. P.s. i did none of that for this video. ha.

  • Great job brother!!

  • @syn5643 thanks bro!

  • i cannottt figure out that delay riff at 0:27

    what tuning are you in?

  • @mikeyfatstrings The tuning is posted in the video info. Im pretty sure its not what they tune to though. I just tuned to the lowest note in this section of the song.

  • @cliffMagriff the right tuning is BF#BE (forget the other two as I play bass)

  • I bet you were psyched when you figured that one out man, I would be too! Well done!

  • @TheMovieMusicMan Sounds like a clean setting and he's looping what he plays. There's some distortion at a low setting in there too and he's using delay with that.

  • You deserve a lot more views. nicely done man

  • you listen to some good music dude.

  • Great job man. I'm a drummer and I was playing aaron harris's part in my head along with you.

  • Really good job.

  • this song is a masterpiece. You did an awesome job.

  • EARRGHh

  • this is top stuff! well done man

  • tuning is wrong but hell.. this is killer i give you credit man...so kewl!!!

  • Ok, for starters, great skills, i'm very impressed that you managed to pull that one out in dropped C but like it says in your description, that is not the real tuning they use, They are tuned to drop B, which is B Gb B E G B try it out, its more or less similar to the one you use just two semitones lower. sTill, great job.

  • sorry, but you're wrong too. it's Open B.

    it goes like this:

    B-F#-B-E-G#-B

it's the tuning i use most of the time too, so i gotta know it...

sometimes they drop the low B string to a low F#, but mostly on Celestial.

  • It's G#, not G. B F# B E G# B

F# and Gb are the same, yes, but G and G# definitely are not.

  • you should do a tab. its so hard to find isis tabs out there. great work!

  • What's with your camera? You're not lefty

  • im a righty, i use the mac photobooth with the built in web cam... so its like a mirror

  • Comment removed

  • how the hell did you know that he was a righty one?

  • ESP letters are inverted on the headstock

  • great!

  • wow... that was great. keep it up!

  • left handed, nice work

  • Hahah, im actually a righty. I just use a web cam, so it kind of like a mirror. Thanks for watchin the vids!!

  • Awesome! Is that a DL4 you're playing through?

  • No, its actually an Akai Headrush E2... if you mean the looper pedal

  • very good work

  • They are played WR in standart seven string tuning BEADGBE, so if you want to play this of six string you need to tune down to BEADF#B. I heard B on the first notes of album, in intro of "Hall of the dead". Really

  • hubiera estado bueno q lo hubieras seguido

    jeje xD

    buen video y gran tema!

    isis los mejores!

    post metal!

  • 20 Minutes/40 Years

and if I recall correctly they tune in B, but this still sounds pretty dead on!

  • haha, thanks for the correction, i just changed the title. I just tuned to that bc thats the lowest note they play in that song... they could be in B and playing on the second fret. Thats why i said I didnt know in the info. Thanks for the complement and thanks for watching the vids.

  • damn i knew u had good taste when i discovered all ur russian circles covers but isis too? beautiful

  • You would also be pleased to know that he is a descendant from the indian tribe, the wet puise, which is also beautiful.
