Xbox 360 - Fallout 3 - Big Graphical Glitch

i have this game for pc and for some reason when i try to do certain things like enter the code for the purifier it just shows a red box with an exclamation point inside it if anyone can help me out itd be appreciatedthe only dlcs i have installed are point lookout and broken steel

That happens to me a lot when I come out of a house there. Except instead of red. It's blue and it's linings of blue of a super wide and tall building? This happens in some spots of the game. I even made a save game so when people don't believe me.

I found a black and blue one in the cliff near minefield look at the fallen powerline

Honestly eveyone its just the game, cuz ive asked alot of people about these types of graphic errors. Fallout 3 is considered the best most buggy/glitchy game around.

THIS SAME FUCKING GLITCH IS HAPPENING TO ME RIGHT NOW but right now only it happens when I look a certin direction and it happened and to me before so I erased all my data and restrted at the vualt entrance AND ITS REALLY PISSING ME OFF!!!! I have a brand new Game of the year copy Without the DLC's downloaded cuz all I have is a shity arcade xbox with no hard drive and I juust learned about 360's dieing so does this me mine is dieing? @LightHero03 Do not panic, this bug only happens when you leave or play your xbox 360 a long period of time. Which causes the xbox 360's graphics card to overheat so this "bug" is the result of overheating of the graphic's card, just turn off your xbox 360 for a hour or more to avoid this problems.

my xbox got the red ring of death so i didnt play it for 2 days come back doesnt work next day i went to go see if it worked and it did i was like wtf but now several games dont work so i went online to the support website didnt do shit now it works better than before cuz it used to glitch up like this and freeze on me

same here man im on my 5th on and bought the elite and mine does the same thing and it only like 5 months old. hate the new elite mine when it gets real hot downs the graphics/ strait lines to make it cooler .... hate it.. but did the turbo fan mod about 2 months ago and i dont have anymore problums

Happened to me but it spawned with all kinds of different colors on a billboard and I'm playing in 1080p. I usually give my X-box a break after this happens but I'm sure its just the game. And it also happened with my old tv in 480p (If that makes any difference :P)

its just a graphic glitche, doesnt mean ur xbox is dying, happens all the time...

to fix:

1.save

2.go to dashboard

3.load save

and then it shouldnt do that glitche.. this pretty much works with most glitches in this game...

it's happened to me in a few places. i just leave the area, save the game, re install the game to the hard drive and start it back up and it stops happening

well, this happened with my second xbox elite, and it still works fine. mine broke after 13 months, the fixed it like a charm cause it never overheats since then

that looks like the graphical ram artefacting, basically your console is getting REALLY hot :S

i found out that its actually from the 360's graphics card overheating, just let the console cool down for a bit and it SHOULD be fine.

Well i've been playing on Fallout for a while now and hasn't happened to me yet and I use a ps3. I'm not bragging going wow ps3 kicks 360 ass i'm just saying. I would of got a 360 but all my mates got a ps3 so i wanted to play online with them so ps3 was my only option... Anyway i've had a lot of glitches on Fallout just never this.

i agree ive played fallout on both consoles and the ps3 seems to run it better. still has glitches but not as bad as the xbox has with the game.and as above not trying 2 start a console argument lol

This bullshit happens to me all the time but not in red. Its more gray if anything.

What i do to get rid of this shit is save the game and then exit. Go back to the title screen and then reload the saved game. Usually it works but that shit is still fuckin annoying.

this happened me the colours where coming from a robot when i killed the robot and the head came off the glitch folowed the head..its kinda hard 2 explain sorry if u didnt understand lol

That's actually the robot's soul escaping. Robotic souls look just like graphics card glitches. Whenever you see one of these in the game, it's a robot ghost.

(That's what I tell myself to keep from punching my 360.)

this also happened to me, but it happened during the final mission, when you follow the giant robot to the purifier, i rebooted my 360 and tried it again, and it worked but this game has way too many bugs and glitches, bethesda better make some patches soon or many people may commet suicide.........or get angry either one.........
