Nice work, good overview. One thing I find interesting about WordPress & Drupal is that they are both based on PHP. There are no similar products based on Perl or Python (the leviathon Zope+Plone notwithstanding).

Mr Rogers, I wanted to thank you very much for your most insightful series of videos on Drupal - they are invaluable.

You are completely correct - build to the requirement. I work a site with 3 million users a month. Drupal is where we have to be.

Personal site is handbuild tables/perl/flash5 streaming real-audio for folks on sub 28kb (Sat/Marine).

Almost anyone can put a CMS together - it takes brains to decide which is best for the application.
