I used to know A guy that had a later sony reel to reel with a wood front [I have a wollensack that looks like a refrigerator and an akai ] I found some tapes of jazz at the philharmonic in the garbage .
The "Tea for Two" number is actually a medley of 5 songs. I don't recognize the 2nd song. The 3rd is "Lady Be Good," heard at the end of the previous video and beginning of this video. The 4th song starts at 1:05 and I'll remember the title as I drop off to sleep tonight. At 1:56 is "Sometimes I'm Happy".
Thanks Chad. It does sound like enoch light. I have many early enoch light stuff, but dont have much from the mid-late 60's. I'll check into it. Thanks for pinpointing the name for 5:56. Ive heard it many times on AM 1480 over here, but they always played it just before the top of the hour, so it always got cut off for the news and I never heard the name.
8:28 is "Love is just around the corner" The funny thing is that I have both of these songs on a 45 EP but they are a different arranngement. I wonder if this tape is from Enoch Light and the Light Brigade?
The 4th song is The Love Nest, I previously thought it was A Banda (both featured on Herb Alpert's Ninth).
