to make a minor tried just flatten the third

diminished flatten the third and the fifth and for augmented just sharpen the fifth

but for beginners it can be.

can you tell me what BDF is and what happens when i Flatten that root? Bb-D-F

BDF would be B diminished i think. and flatting the root B making BbDF, would be a Bb major.
