dont think we will see another riddick movie :( because it was a cinimatic flop and vin deisel put his money into as a producer and I dont think another production company will touch it .despite the charecter being cool ! but sorry Necromungers ??? totaly b-movie 70s sci fi names . @MisterTwoPiece Yes I see that it does lol I am happy as anyone to see the riddick character reprived ,its why i came to this page i read that the budgets for the movies are going to be around the $60m mark this time though which has both posative and negative values to the movie and the chronicals as as a whole . The mythology they tried to create for CoR was a bit OT and the name names were rubbish eg "THE NECROMUNGERS" :( so returning to roots might be a good move

@nolderine - I don't think a smaller budget is a necessarily a bad thing. Like you said, Chronicles of Riddick was a bit silly at points, and I agree. So I think a smaller budget would be a good thing. Deeper character development over huge, epic fantasy set pieces can only mean good things for the series, in my opinion

I hope they remember to make Riddick a hardass again. Riddick is not a character we're supposed to identify with, he's supposed to SCARE us. That's what made him great in Pitch Black; he was scary. Slightly MENTAL. Not normal.

Also, he went over 30 minutes into the movie without talking. In Chronicles, he's chatting it up with everyone he meets. Just because he's the star doesn't mean he needs the most lines.
