@35823582 LMAO this can't be done anymore because sony blocked it but their is a PS3 hack that will let you do run homebrew but you have to buy some USB card are something I'm not messing with that though.

What the Hell is the real point to this when there are emulators on PC for this, I don't think getting locked out of PSN is worth these emulators, when there already on PC, just my opinion

Calm down little man no one got locked out of PSN this was just a Blu-ray Java hack. and sony blocked it with a FW update over a year ago.

but you can still run EMU on The PS3 if you have Linux installed and Sony will not block you from PSN.

@quincyonq So you can still run these emulators on PS3's current firmware, yeah didn't think so, and if you don't have the current firmware you can't get into PSN.....so essentially you get "locked" out of PSN, that what I was say. "Little Man" lol

Sony stopped this one from working with a FW update but you can run other NES, SNES, Arcade EMU's under Linux if you have it on your PS3

console emulators are strictly cpu based, thats why games cant run as good as they should. i would think that 32bit game and lower should run fine on the ps3 if the cell proc was utilized properly, because it can play ps1 games standalone. the ps2 emulator with the older systems needed a separate chip in order to use both graphics processing and cpu.

ahhh, if only we could find a way to somehow hack the PS3 the way we did with PSP and Xbox, look at all the possibilities... for sure the PS3 can emulate Dreamcast, Gamecube and Xbox... and if that happens nobody's gonna complain about B/C anymore
