How sad, left us a very brilliant actor, who has made you laugh, millions of viewers!! 60-years career and many movies to remember! Thank you for this Dracula. A great performance by Mr. Nielsen!!
First time I ever saw Leslie Neilsen, he was on the bow of the "Poseidon." Then I went back and saw so many films he was in. From the "Naked Gun" series to "Creepshow" to so many others, he was a working actor who seemed to revel in his new-found status as a comic lead. R.I.P., Leslie - gone but never forgotten.
Leslie Nielson was Canada's best ambassador. He mastered silliness and made people all over laugh. No one can ever compare to Leslie Nielson... RIP. Thanks for posting this tribute.
Just finished watching the second season of "The Streets Of San Francisco" in which Leslie appeared and started to realise that most of his early role's in TV and movie's were serious. It wasn't till later that he became one of the funniest men in Hollywood! On the ball as always Craig. I'm sure we are all sad at the moment but I'm gonna watch my favourite Leslie Nielsen movie tonight and laugh myself silly! Even if it is "Day Of The Animals" lol........RIP Leslie
@christopher242424 yes he was great in "Airplane" and "the Naked Gun" films but also in films as diverse as "The Poseidon Adventure", "Forbidden Planet". and Barbra Striesand's "Nuts"
@CRAIGSWORLD1427 Of course. He was one of the best in comedia and he knew how to make laugh. My point was that he was also great on serious roles. The tormented violin player in Counterpoint, the way Leslie Nielsen played, with such a dignity and serenity, was one of a genius.
This is truly a sad day...he was a comic GENIUS...thank you for this lovely tribute Dear Craig. It certainly does justice to this Wonderful and Entertaining Actor, Comedian, Gentleman!
As always Craig, you have made a wonderful tribute to an amazing actor! I think Leslie Nielson was very talented & funny. He was also a great guy when I had the pleasure of meeting him. I love that he supported the hard of hearing. He's going to be missed by many. Thank goodness he will never be forgotten. Thanks again for making this tribute, and so quickly! (RIP Mr. Nielson.)
Five bucks says he's making angels laugh falling off a cloud... Choking on a fruit pie.
