after watching your video i bought the rig and redrock m2 with flip module i was ablre to set up n the rig too.but problem is with setting back focus.can you please send me the focus point on canon xha1 since i am also usinh canon xha1s.any help will be appreciated.
can you list all the accessories that you have in this camera rig the names of each part and where they can be purchased and what the overall cost runs for the complete setup thanks
i have canon xha1 and bought redrock flip module.just wanted to know if we need step down adapto to use it with xha1? if yes what steps down size will be good.
why can't I see the results in comparison to standard setup? and after all: sorry but I just cannot trust a homevideo-magazine where the host doen't even have a own microphone. Sound is just bad.
So, Good intention, nice setup, but catastrophic presentation.
@JillmanPhoto You've probably got a firewire port on your DV/HDV cam - connect that up and then capture your footage using your editing software. If you're using the canon XH A1 it's on the back under the panel next to the battery compartment.
Great video. Loved the lighting. I just subscribed and have only one suggestion: If possible, could you include a list of your items at the end? It would be easier to pause and take notes. Again, thanks for offering this.
I really enjoyed your videos. I noticed you use a Davis and Sanford provista, how good is this tripod. You seem to buy really good expensive stuff, this tripod is not. Please explain. I have a Canon xl1s. Thanks
In all technicality, the 3CCD produces a better image, with fewer glitches, but a more varying light sensitivity, and drains a battery much, much faster. 3CMOS uses much less power, but has issues with rolling shutter jello effect, and some other issues. CMOS was developed for still cameras, not for video, and has only really been taken up by video for the cost (cmos is much cheaper) and power conservation benefits.
congratulations i really enjoyed your videos, that is what i call setup!! please show us more detalis about where we can find thoose gears and attachements.
depends on the weight threshold of the jib. The rig weighs 15+ lbs. and a jib like the ProAm wouldn't be able to handle it very well. You get a Kessler Crane or a Jimmy Jib....then you might be able to. But I will say that I have seen other camera rigs like mine used on jibs before.
I just wanted to thank you for these videos. I have the same camera and want to do the same thing as you are doing. I have not gone to school to learn any of this so i am learning on the fly....

you don't need to get a flip mod. If you just losen the screws on the lcd it flips the screen around its self
