ummm well I can say horses are more important than chickens, not cows. Can u hop on a chickens back and ride it? No. Can u snuggle with a chicken? Probably not. Can you brush and groom a chicken? No Can the chicken give you kisses? Not really. Cows you can do this to besides ride it. Don't get me wrong, my friend has chickens and we name them and play with them and all but its just not the same as a horse or cow.

This is so sad. i wish they end slaughter houses and maybe just maybe they should make people slaughter houses and kill people the way they kills animals and see how they like it and how they feel. Animals have feelings and they feel pain just as humans do! Without slaughter there are hundreds of homelss animals or they are being transported further to be slaughtered. If an owner cannot affort to keep a horse or put it to sleep slaughter should be an availble options. Besides, at least in slaughter the meat is used and not just rotting in the ground.

I would eat anything before I was a trader and ate my favorite animal in the world. Horses are my life, and I treat them the way they should be treated. The slaughter houses are open for tourists sometimes and I want u to get in one of those trailers w/ the horses, travel across the country, and see wht they do to the most beautiful animals.

Firstly, horses spook because they are startld and have differnt vision than humans do. Secondly, slaughtered horses are killed in a relitively humane way. And using horses for meat is no more wrong than eating cows or chickens or pigs. And I never said you should not treat them well. By all means, PLEASE do so. And the meat would be wasted if it was put down VIA injection. Most horses at slaughter are hurt or inable to be used for riding or whatever. Or would have died anyways....

In my last comment I said not 2 put them down I personally would NEVER do anything to any of my horses or the ones I know but put them to sleep in the comfort of their own barn by a professional vet. People can do whatever they want to their horses as long as it is quick, not painful, and the absolute last choice. No I don't agree w/ slaughter houses in the U.S. u misunderstood me, I think it would be ok if the people came to your barn n did it more quickly in ur horses stall so its more calm.
