I elongated the wires with magnet fine pitch wire and soldered them. Electrical tape is not going to do a lot of good here. But this is a good project to help teach you to solder at a fine pitch.
I'm also make'ing a glove mice. I just don't know where to put the following parts: mouse wheel, back/forward buttons and dpi changer. (b./f. buttons and dpi is it's own card/board)
@logiraytium well I've actually looked into patents and whatnot, but @ the moment it just seems too cost prohibitive. I might be persuaded to build some much more consumer friendly versions on commission tho. If you're interested let me know.
@reticulat1ngsplines well im sorry to say that you probably cant market these too well since household hackers made a much (sorry to say) nicer and cleaner version than this and MIT made a really nice version but unlike household hackers they of course didnt show how to make it, so since people can make it for like less than 20 dollars unless they needa buy everything else for it too, then i dont really see much in the way of selling them
There's a gyro mouse out there. Someone should modify that into a glove.

@sbuttrey I agree. This version did not work out well. I plan on revisiting this project at some point and making real improvements.

The first one was better, it didn't need all the wristband shit. The only thing better with this one is that he used a nicer glove

@Ditrix What are you talking about? That wasn't even a complete sentence.
reticulat1ngsplines 8 months ago
just because you create something doesn't mean it isn't retard material

I like it but I don't really see it being as practical as the mouse.
Reeseycup79 9 months ago
@Reeseycup79 i dont see how its any different than a mouse....other than the fact it probably feels more natural than a mouse does
