They're hood pins. On a-lot of modern sports cars they're decorative but the practical function is to keep the hood locked down to stop it flying up while the car is in motion, an extra safety feature seperate or unique to the latch.
i buy gas from that gas station, its on oakwood blvd. off southfield freeway. Seen a 2010 Mustang GT500 there a few weeks ago. actually see like 5 or so in that area.
i live by the Ford World HQ. I also live near a bunch of engineering office buildings where they road test all of their cars. There are also Roush office buildings near me. I see new model fords not released yet all the time. I live in Dearborn and regularly go to Allen Park. Ford owns a TON of office space in my area. They engineer, test, and build cars here.
Most of the ones i have seen which is like 10 now are test mules or company production test cars.
the car makes 440bhp so its got less than 400 to the wheels? that doesn't sound right. 500 at the fly turns about 440 to the wheels, so the car does make 500hp. it loses about 14% turning your drivetrain.
that is where ur wrong. it has 500 bhp. bhp is horse power at the crank. it has around 440 at the rear wheels. its called parasitic loss. get ur facts straight before u try to make a car look like crap. and 440 is still more than most cars anyways.
Slow car. When it reaches speeds of 90 MPH it slows down considerably, just due to the horrible design flaw of a blunt front end like a truck. Ugly car, bad design, horrible handeling, lame acceleration. If you want a real sports car just wait another year and buy a corvette.
i got cobra just like that i love the white with blue stripes ..i drive it on sundays only

The GT500 only does 447 BHP and a few weeks ago a tunner make a spercharger 4 the GT500 so the car can make 500 Bhp...Busted

It makes 500hp certified by the Society of Automotive Engineers. Bust that!

Have you even driven it?

the design isn't a flaw, they built the front end like that on purpose so it can reflect the retro look. but, i still like the sn95 model better.
